It was beautiful! Lovely garden, near to the lake and great hiking opportunities. Shopping and restaurants very close. The hut is very clean and everything we needed for cooking is available. We arrived with public transport in Mandello del Lario, everything easy to access.

Perfection. Very comfortable stay in a dreamy little cottage.

Dreamy private cottage where you wake up to birdsong and the glimpses of Lake Como through a lovely garden space. Bed was soooo comfortable- nice kitchenette with table, very charming details, bathroom was great, everything clean, even the couch was comfy! Hosts could not be more warm and helpful, they are local and have a deep love for their town, typical northern Italians, fashionable, sophisticated, warm and kind. Lake is a few steps away down a little street. An interesting walk takes you to the ferry where there are boats connecting to Bellagio where you can reach anywhere else on the lake. You will be amazed at Bellagio and Varenna but your heart will be left in Modello.

Amazing , Stunning.

Dario is an excellent host, funny, helpful & very knowledgeable about the town & its surrounds. The casetta was so inviting the grounds are beautiful the view of the mountains when you wake breathtaking. We can't recommend this beautiful place & it's village enough we didn't want to leave . Dario was there to see us off with a big smile & a big hug .We will never forget this experience.

The property was very clean and cosy. it is located roughly 20m away from the lake and 500-600 m away from the supermarket, restaurants and beaches. You have everything you may need very close..

Ideal, clean and organised

It was very well suited to our needs. A short walk to the train to bring us to Varenna. The setting was gorgeous, nestled in the corner of the garden amungst plum and olive trees. The room and kitchenette was very well furnished with all the equipment one would need for self catering.

It would have been nice to have a curtain on the inside of the front door to block out the early morning sun and to allow for sleeping til 8:30/9.

Secluded cottage in a spacious garden, great host

Casetta del Molo is a small one room cottage in the spacious and beautiful garden of the host family. So you really feel secluded and private. The cottage offers all you need for self-supply although there are also enough restaurants in town. There is a nice and clean pool in the garden. The cottage is in second row to the Lake Como, so it is a one minute walk to a small runway into the lake or ca. 10 min to the real lido. Dario is the most hospitable and accommodating host and we enjoyed out stay and his company a lot.

Man muss es gesehen haben, dann will man nie wieder weg von dort. Es ist sensationell schön. Unglaublich gastfreundlich und entgegenkommend. Als Abschiedsgeschenk haben wir noch tolle Fotos von uns bekommen. Ein Geheimtipp für Guzzisti. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen. Haben uns unheimlich wohl gefühlt. Grazie Dario Monika & Markus

Lokalizacja nad samym jeziorem, bliskość do kolei, sklepów oraz innych obiektów.

Pani, byc moze właścicielka, ale tego nie jestem pewna chodziła nago po ogrodzie. Było to niesmaczne i nie na miejscu. Nie każdy lubi oglądać gołe cycki. Pani doskonale wiedziała, że jesteśmy obecni w domku. Ogromny minus tego pobytu.

Die Lage direkt am See und doch abgeschieden in einem Garten war super. Das Gartenhäuschen als Ferienhäuschen umgebaut hatte alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
