Exceptional, charming and clean accomodation in a truly magical location

Mandello del Lario is quite literally a slice of heaven on earth, and if you choose to holiday here while visiting Lake Como look no further than this exceptional accomodation!! The accomodation itself is VERY charming, romantic, spacious and clean. Right from the very the moment you reach the green door alongside other bright coloured buildings in this picturesque town. It’s fully furnished, with a comfortable bed and great living spaces. We enjoyed mornings in the courtyard having our coffee listening to the church bells in the distance. The washing machine works very well and there is a good size clothes horse to dry items on! Staying here, you will be a very short walk to a number of gorgeous coffee shops, the ferry, a great gelato bar, excellent bakery, the local beach club and a number of restaurants dotted about. Alberto greeted us and was super friendly. Vanessa was so helpful over the few days we stayed, providing local recommendations for boat hire and a taxi. Prior to our arrival, the hosts contacted us to let us know the trains weren’t running from Lecco and that we’d have to get a connecting bus. It’s not just the standard things these hosts accomodate or think of - they truly went beyond to make the stay so comfortable. We have memories that will last a lifetime from Mandello, including our stay at this gorgeous accomodation and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location, but not a particularly comfortable apartment.

Fantastic location. Quick walk to the lake, the park, the ferry. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery (although not all the pots had lids that fit). Very spacious.

It’s quite dark and a little tired in terms of kitchen cupboards, outside area. The bathroom could use a deep clean - mouldy shower head, some mould in the shower. Kitchen could have been cleaner as well - coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned. We had a very hot and stuffy first night but the owner organised for a fan and cotton sheets the next day on our request (the scratchy polyester sheets were awful). That helped, although a slightly musty smell lingered, despite opening the windows.

amazing location easy to walk around town or jump on the train! apartment was exceptional especially the huge corner bath and got a really decent nights sleep!!

The owners met us at the door, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and gave us advice on where to eat/walk around the area. The jacuzzi and the outdoor eating area were the highlight. I would highly recommend for couples.

Really good location, calm and quiet (except from church bells). Appartment very clean and good equipped with everything - iron, washing machine, kitchen, fast internet, cosmetics, cleaning stuff, towel supply, hairdryer, spare pillows and even bike. Owners are really warm and hospital. They gave us a lift from the train station and a lot of good tips. The best is jackuzzi! You can relax in big bath tub around candles. We will come back for sure! Thank You for stay!

Bardzo ładne mieszkanie, w którym niczego nie brakowało. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, czyste łazienki, wygodne łóżko, przeuroczy ogródek oraz bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka, która ciągle pozostawała z nami w kontakcie.

Troszkę ciemno, ale takie uroki starego budownictwa - na szczęście mieliśmy do dyspozycji dużo lamp :)
