Peaceful few days in Mandello

The apartments are beautiful and very well equipped. They were very clean. The pool is lovely and they are in a perfect location to explore Mandello, which is a very quiet little town but has enough to do for a few days.

Wonderful Apartment in a lovely location!

Anna‘s Villa is wonderful and we really enjoyed our lovely Apartment and the pool. Everything is so beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The location is perfect, close to local groceries shops and Restaurants. Varenna and Bellagio is close by and a boat rental! Anna was the perfect host, always trying to help and made us feel at home!

Great accommodation with great host

Nice, quiet and clean apartment with a beautiful garden, a nice pool and a parking spot for your car. Mandello del Lario is also a very nice town with some great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Best host ever! she literally saved our holiday after we had a flat tire and she offered her help to translate for us at the local assistance service.

Amazing respite on Lake Como

Staying at Anna's place exceeded my expectations in every way! We stayed in the comfortable, spacious and beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that overlooked a beautiful private garden. The beds, pillows and linens were the best we had during our tour of Italy! The town of Mandello di Lario was perfectly tourist free when we visited in May 2023, and had several excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the quaint little bakery (with the BEST canolis ever) within a 1 minute walk, the lakeshore within a 3 minute walk, and the best pizza we tried in Italy within a 3 minute walk. We relied solely on public transportation during our entire stay. Varenna is a 15 minute train ride away, where we caught the ferry to Bellagio, Mennagio Trezzemo. Anna herself is a gracious hostess who anticipated and granted our every need. This is an exceptional find for those looking to experience lago di como as a local and escape the tourists! We hope to be back soon!

Overall, it's one of the best places I've been on vacation

First of all, an extra nice and helpful owner. The suite was spacious with access to the garden and close to the pool. The building is located 3 minutes walk from the lake, close to the shop, restaurant and ferries stop. Overall a beautiful place. The town itself is also worth recommending - everything is at hand and it is not as crowded as Bellagio or Varenna,

If I had to nit-pick to something, there is only 1 parking space for each apartment, even if the apartment is for two families (fortunately, you can find free parking spaces in the vicinity), the entrance to the property is extra narrow, so there is always a thrill at parking. The kitchen could be a bit bigger and better equipped (some extra pot, pan, toaster). But these are the details. Overall, it's one of the best places I've been on vacation

The apartment was very clean & nicely decorated. Although on the first floor it was great to have a balcony. The plunge pool was brilliant to have as a facility too. Awesome stay in lovely Mandello!

The apartment is really bright and nicely decorated. The beds are great and the sleeping rooms have airconditioning. The building is in a great location in Mandello; close to many great restaurants, shops and the lovely (free) beach of Mandello. The pool is also very nice. The host (Anna) is super friendly and very proactive sharing ideas to make your stay awesome.

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful apartment a lot! The owner is very kind, helpful, always available when we had question. The location is perfect to go for a walk to the lake Como, or to the train station (there are bars and shops, pharmacy near the station) It was best choice for us to stay here, not too crowded with tourists and we felt really home after staying few days with this beautiful village 😊 There are bakery, fruits & vegetables shops with friendly auntie near this apartment. We want to go back here next time in summer so that we can enjoy beautiful swimming pool more next time!

Our stay at Maji was excellent. The apartment was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated and in a great location. There was a welcome basket on arrival which was a very thoughtful touch. We like the little town just the right size with cozy settings Pool, garden is cute and beautiful. Lighted up in the evening. Feel very safe and relaxed at this property. Beautiful moderne house, well located and close to everything by 2 minutes walk. A large supermarket close and the deli department have all the lovely warm take aways if you do not want to cook. Clean and spacy. Well exceeded our expectations. hotel standards than bb standards. Fully equipped kitchen. No need for Aircon, cool old house with cool creative decor. Absolutely no smell of a old house. We are very lucky with the weather and we enjoyed the pool. Almost only local Italiens having their holidays in this town. The town is alive when restaurants opens. The atmosfere is just part of the experience Truly a hidden gem and will return for a longer stay.

The apartment as well as the whole property are beautiful and very clean. The pool is super convenient and the whole location is awesome - anything you need is within walking distance. Anna is an amazing host and will help you with any issues and questions you might have. All the amazing reviews that Maji Como Lake has received are, from our point of view, absolutely legitimate - we had a great time and would definitely come back.

The mattresses are a bit hard, although that is a personal opinion.

Anna nous a très bien accueilli, elle est de bon conseil. L’appartement se situe dans une magnifique villa en plein centre et à deux pas du lac. On y trouve beaucoup de commerces. Az elhelyezkedés tökéletes, csendes, séta távolságra a tótól és jó éttermektől, a ház és az apartman újszerű, szép, komfortos és tiszta. Anna a szállásadó mindig elérhető volt, kedves és segítőkész. Csodaszép kert, terasz és medence. Nagyon jó, hogy van parkolója.

A medence nem fűtött ez nyáron gondolom nem probléma, de most, a jó idő ellenére nagyon hideg volt.
