A comfortable and well-located stay

The apartment was fantastic, spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It felt comfortable and very well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the city center. Everything was within walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room was quite warm upon arrival, but after turning down the heating it cooled down quickly and was comfortable for the rest of our stay. The TV was placed in a slightly unusual position, which might not be ideal for everyone. However, this didn’t affect us as we spent most of our time exploring the city. Overall, these were only minor points and did not impact our stay in a significant way.

Violet was a super host, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay, with brilliant communication at all times from the moment we booked until we left! The location of this apartment is excellent for visiting Basel.

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment included a kitchen, laundry facilities and was light filled. It was on the 6th floor with an outdoor terrace. It had a large lift and it was in a secure building. The street had lots of restaurants, clothing shops and close to the trams. The location was central and it was easy to walk to places or take a tram. The host was very helpful and could be contacted if you needed any assistance. We would definitely stay there again.

Every need of the guest has been taken into consideration in the room. The location is great. The host is very attentive and helpful. If I go Basel again, I will choose the same place.

Since it was in the centre of entertainment venues, it was a little noisy outside.

Great home in prime location.

The property had plenty of space for myself and my mum. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was modern with a great shower and the kitchen was fully functional and stocked with cookware and utensils.

Great location, pleasant owners but I wouldn’t go back.

The location was great! surrounded by bars and restaurants.

The building is under renovations and jack hammering started at 7am. I didn’t find the kitchen very clean with finger prints on the cabinets not giving a feeling of cleanliness. The laundry soap used for the bedding was very strongly scented and over powering. Not pleasant at all. The layout of the room was very unusual with the tv tucked into a corner at right angles to the head of the bed and seating on the opposite side of the bed.

Everything was fine. The building does not have parking but there was local parking nearby (about for 3 min walk, 25 FRN per 24H) . All necessary stuffs are equipped. Location was very convenience.

I couldn’t find cut board for cooking.

Location, comfort and superb hosts.

The apartment was located right in the heart of Basel, right above shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and included oils, condiments and plenty of chocolates! The pay as you go mini bar is a brilliant idea. The bathroom is modern and had a great rain shower head. I loved the little deck to sit and relax on. The hosts were very kind and went above and beyond to accommodate me and help me out in a difficult situation.

Everything was great but the location can be a little noisy on the weekend.

It was a very dirty place, especially taking into account we are in covid times. The appartement hadn't been cleaned before our arrival, although we'd rather say it hadn't been properly cleaned for a while!! The dishwasher was full of dirty staff, and the washing machine and drier hadn't been emptied before our arrival. Not to talk about the grease all around the kitchen or the dirty frigde. It was disgusting, and not safe at all during these times...

Braucht dringend eine Grundreinigung

Die Lage ist zentral, aber man muss auch die Begleiterscheinungen in Kauf nehmen: Essensgerüche von Restaurants/Fastfoodläden, Betrunkene, die nachts lautstark nach Hause gehen.

Eine Basel Card wurde nicht wie angekündigt ausgehändigt. Die Wohnung benötigt eine Grundreinigung. Die Küche ist unglaublich schmutzig. Es ist überall schmierig und auf den Oberflächen ist Dreck, an den Fronten sind Abdrücke, ein Stuhl war so schmutzig, dass man sich nicht draufsetzen konnte. Die Schubladen sind nicht gereinigt, Krümel und andere Rückstände sind nicht entfernt worden (das wird auch 2024 bemängelt). Der Kühlschrank ist schmierig und wurde nicht gereinigt. Der Wohnraum ist staubig und auch hier mangelt es an regelmäßiger Pflege. Die Bettwäsche war entweder nicht frisch oder es lag ein durch Körperwärme verursachter Bumeranggeruch vor. Das hat bei mir einen Juckreiz am ganzen Körper ausgelöst, so dass ich nicht schlafen konnte und um 4 Uhr morgens das Haus verlassen habe. Die Terrassenmöbel sind ungepflegt, die Auflagen modern und das Moos wuchert bereits. Die Fenster sind ungeputzt. In der Beschreibung wurde ein Ventilator und sogar eine Klimaanlage erwähnt, die ich aber nicht gefunden habe. Tagsüber war es recht warm und die Wohnung war durch das Dachgeschoss stickig. Kabelfernsehen war nicht vorhanden. Es gab zwar Apple TV, aber die TV-App funktionierte nicht, weil ein anderer Nutzer eingeloggt war. Ich konnte also nicht einmal die Nachrichten sehen. Spielfilme gab es auf dem Apple TV. Das Badezimmer war auf den ersten Blick ok, aber die Dusche hat Schimmelstellen und die Handtücher haben wohl schon etwas länger gelegen. Die Bilder sind sicherlich nicht aktuell. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, denn der Aufenthalt hat bei mir Stress ausgelöst und ich kann die Wohnung nicht empfehlen.

Gemütlich, erholsam und entspannt

Die Lage war einfach perfekt. Der Balkon war sehr praktisch und man konnte sich entspannen. Das Bett ist extrem bequem, virallem die Kissen waren ein Traum:)

Die Küche ist nicht sauber. Ich bin nicht heikel jedoch war es wirklich dreckig. Der Geschirspüler war immernoch voll ,der Herd war dreckig, die Rückwand war komplett voller Öl und schmierig, die Schubladen waren voller Dreck. Im Badezimmer waren die Spiegel komplett verschmiert. Ansonsten war das Apartment geputzt aber die Küche ist wirklich ein minus Punkt.
