The beautiful and modern studio at Rümelinsplatz 1 offers 35m2 and has a very spacious living/bedroom. This is equipped as follows:
•Double bed in the living/bedroom
•seating with dining table and chairs
•Open kitchen with complete equipment with hotplates, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
•Bathroom with shower and WC
The studio apartment is located in a new building, which was built according to the most modern standards. A passenger lift is available and the building is completely wheelchair accessible. In the house, there is a laundry room with three washing towers, which you can use free of charge. Our service also includes Wi-Fi Internet, TV with international channels, bed linen and towels. All additional costs and the final cleaning are included in the final price.
At Rümelinsplatz you live in the beautiful old town of Basel in an excellent location. The Marktplatz and Barfüsserplatz are not far from the studio apartment. Together with the Münsterplatz, these two squares are among the city's most famous squares. The Marktplatz is home to the Basel Town Hall and every day of the week there is a market where you can buy many delicacies and specialities from the region, Switzerland and the whole world. Barfüsserplatz is an important traffic junction in Basel. There are regular events here, such as the Basel Autumn Fair, the Christmas Market and a large flea market every second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
From the studio apartment, you can reach the banks of the Rhine and the Münster Cathedral, one of Basel's main landmarks, in about 6 minutes on foot. The Basel Exhibition Centre, where famous trade fairs such as Baselworld or Art Basel regularly take place, is 1.5km from Rümelinsplatz and can be reached by tram in less than 10 minutes. There are also many museums in the immediate vicinity of the studio apartment, such as the Art Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Historical Museum.
