This modern studio apartment, named after the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh, captivates with its stylish design and elegant furnishings. The apartment has a spacious living/bedroom with a large double bed, a sofa and a sitting area with dining table and chairs.
The open plan kitchen has four hotplates, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, microwave and many other useful kitchen utensils. Here you can cook excellent food and prepare a delicious meal.

At Rümelinsplatz 1, where the studio apartment is located, you live in the heart of Basel. In the neighbourhood are the market place and the Barfüsserplatz. The Barfüsserplatz with its eight tram lines is an important traffic junction of Basel. There are also regular events here, such as the Basel Autumn Fair or the Christmas Market.
From the studio apartment, you can reach the banks of the Rhine and the Münster Cathedral, Basel's landmark, in about 6 minutes on foot. The Basel Exhibition Centre, where famous trade fairs such as Baselworld or Art Basel regularly take place, is 1.5km from Rümelinsplatz and can be reached by tram in less than 10 minutes. Apartments are new, clean and fully equipped. The area is very quiet and central.
Personally, I prefer lighter blankets and not such heavy ones.

The apartment is very central.
Clean, confortable and very spacious (my children had a lot of place to play even when the sofa bed was open!).
The Basel card was offered for the duration of our staying, so we had the chance to use public transport to reach the further places and we had reduced entrance to all the museums.
A great place to stay in a very beautiful city!
The conditions for the luggage storage after check-out are not clear and we hadn't the possibility to leave our luggage on the day if the departure.
Some kitchen linens would be good as well, for example a tablecloth.
