Hostel Mostel Hub Rooms and Apartments

-This hostel felt like stepping back in time into a 1970s Saigon movie, especially at the reception area, which opens into a huge room that serves as a lounge and kitchenette. You can play a game on a small pool table, grab one of the guitars, or just hang out. People gather and chat in the evenings, and you naturally meet travellers of all ages and nationalities, which was a relief for me, as I was a bit older and worried it would be full of just young kids. That communal space made it so easy to connect with people and head out together for the night, making it a huge plus. -Obiviously for the money you pay, you can't expect a 5 star hotel ;) you got to adapt a little and over all the cleaning was fine

-I stayed in the dorms away from the main reception area, which wasn't ideal and got a bit annoying. Also, I rarely managed to get breakfast there, either because I slept in or just ran out of time. It took about a 5/10min walk just to reach the main hub of the hostel

Your staff is absolutely incredible! Particularly Ivan and Stephen they give like five star resort service, it was unbelievable how knowledgeable, kind and helpful they were. It was really nice not to sleep on bunkbeds but to have your own individual space also the codes everywhere so you don’t have to mess with a key is really appreciated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There are a lot of people smoking right in front of the entrance store so cigarette smoke comes in the main lobby area a lot lot. Also, the bathroom facilities have no place to hang something so in the toilets and showers. There’s no hooks to hang clothing, which is kind of gross because you either have to put stuff on the toilet or on the floor.

The only good thing about the place is its location, it’s close to the city center and other important areas. It’s also quite cheap, and the people who work there were very kind and sweet to me.

First of all, I stayed in the single room. The walls are extremely thin, I could hear everything. When other guests in the building were talking late at night, around midnight, it honestly felt like they were in the same room with me, which made it very difficult to sleep. The room also wasn’t clean enough, especially the toilet. On top of that, the shower was messy. Every time I used it, water flooded onto the bathroom floor, and there was nothing to dry it with, so the floor stayed soaked for the entire stay.
