Very quiet stopover

This place is in a very remote setting. It has a beautiful long drive and is set next to a stream with ducks and geese. The owner was friendly and there was covered parking for my motorcycle. The room was clean and the shower room was small but worked well. Breakfast was nice in the morning served in the main house.

On arrival it would have been nice to be offered some refreshments after my journey from the UK. The property is a long way from anywhere and so not possible to ride to the local shop. Have dinner before you get here or take a picnic with you. 😁

Nice stay for a night

A very lovely small farm with guest bedrooms on the second floor. The room was pleasantly spacious, with two double beds, a small dining table, and armchairs. We had a very restful sleep and enjoyed a pleasant breakfast with soft bread, homemade jams, and yogurt. A great place to stop for one night.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak and didn’t work well. A small fridge and a couple of glasses in the room would be a nice addition. The bathroom had only a bathtub, and unfortunately, we couldn’t figure out how to get water from the showerhead. It might have been broken. Also, we didn’t notice any wall mount for the showerhead, even if it had worked :)

16th century country house on the route to Cherbourg or Mont Saint Michel.

A charming working farm with ducks, hens and friendly dog as well as the quiet of the countryside. Farmyard sparrows fly by your window keeping the flies away. Sylvie makes a lovely breakfast with fresh breads, jams and yoghurt, coffee and juice from their own kitchen. The rooms are comfortable with old fashioned country elegance, with modernized bathroom. An ideal place to spend the night before a ferry from Cherbourg 70kms away.

Cute Farm house

A sweet spot with a nice entry, a dog and chicken. The people were very nice, we had a bath for us which has been buil inside the room (thin wall inside the room). Its very quiet there and has a retro touch. You can park the car in ront of the house, very easy to access and maneuver.

The mattress was very soft. I didnt have the best sleep, but someone else might like the soft mattress. Location is best visited when having a car.

Impressive old property with a grand entrance. Very quiet location on the farm. Big comfortable room with nice old antique furnishings. Excellent breakfast of French breads, toast, brioche and homemade jams and yoghurt.

Very good

A very nice place to be. We felt like kings cycling down the alley to our room beside the main house. The inside of the room is renovated and adapted to the needs nowadays. We loved also the homemade breakfast and the conversation with the owner.

Only 1 big issue

Very nice location outside, kindness of the host.

The wc was placed in a small separated room, without windows or any aspiration system. There was an unbreathable air due to some chemicals used for cleaning, not possibile to use it for more than few seconds.

Séjour parfait, endroit parfait

Nous aimons les demeures de caractères avec une histoire donc nous avons été conquis. L'allée arborée fait son petit effet en arrivant, la chambre et ses immenses fenêtres était très chaleureuse, la salle de bain étincelante. Le petit déjeuner était aussi très sympathique, avec des produits locaux une hôte toujours très agréable. Nous avons même eu la chance de partager ce petit déjeuner avec d'autres visiteurs très intéressants. Nous espérons y retourner un jour.

J’ai passé une nuit pour le travail, et j’ai été reçue avec beaucoup de chaleur. Ma chambre était spacieuse avec une salle de bain attenante. Des volets, confort +++ et l’esprit de la chambre et des lieux m’ont permis de très bien dormir La dame qui m’a accueilli a été très serviable avec moi ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter et je recommande ce logement dans un cadre fabuleux et calme avec un immense jardin 🪴

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont très agréables et très attentifs (dont la chienne Vigie ;)). Tout près de Coutances (nos étions là pour JSLP) et en pleine campagne !!!

La pression de l'eau est un peu faible et la connexion pas terrible. Mais les propriétaires des chambres n'y peuvent pas grand chose ...
