Very easy self-check in, responsive hosts

Location was excellent — about a 15-minute walk to the train station and another 15-minute walk from the apartment to the main Piazza. On weekends, many of the streets leading to the Piazza are closed to traffic, making it perfect for strolling through the shops and exploring the city on foot. There are countless places to visit around the Piazza, including churches, museums, and beautiful historic architecture, easily enough to keep you busy for an entire day. For breakfast, there’s a café/bar conveniently located right beside the building with excellent coffee and croissants. Also worth visiting is Mister Coffee, only a 2–3 minute walk away — the pistachio cream-filled donuts were amazing. The host was exceptional. She responded quickly to messages, checked in a few times during our stay, and provided several great restaurant recommendations. We tried a number of them and were not disappointed. Be sure to check out Regina Sophia Pizza, a charming little spot just steps from the Piazza, as well as Hostaria San Carlino, about a 3–5 minute walk from the apartment (reservations recommended). Near the main Piazza, there’s a fantastic food hall called Mercato di Mezzo with many great food vendors. Do yourself a favor and try Assud Arancine e Cabbuci — their arancini were absolutely delicious, and we went back several times during our two-week stay. In this area, there are many many restaurants and bars where you can just sit outside, enjoy the view and eat delicious food. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer, ironing board, and more. There is even a grocery store near by incase you want to do some of your own cooking. If we return to Bologna, we would absolutely stay here again.

A microwave food cover to protect against spattering, more utensils suitable for the oven and microwave. We enjoy smoothies, there was a handheld blender but no suitable container.
