We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Non-touristy neighborhood with everything you need close by (especially the #26 bus stop directly in front). Nice kitchen, shower, bathroom, clothes washer, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. There are also 2 large elevators in the building! The balcony and view are great. Jean-Pierre was responsive and helpful.

Jean-Pierre is charming and extremely responsive to communications. He accommodated an early check-in and was very patient and understanding when we were delayed at the airport when we didn't think we were going to make it on time (we did in the end). He also allowed us to store our effects while we shopped on our last day. Very kind. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. With regret, because J-P is so lovely, the apartment is in need of a deep clean. All the common surfaces, counters, toilet etc are clean, but there is a lot of dust, some splatters and the exterior of the shower needs a goid scrub. I was able to wipe thick dust off the back of the top of the bathroom door. It is clearly also his residence when the apartment isn't rented and there are alot of personal mementos everywhere that need dusting. It also makes it unclear (and awkward) as to what can and can't be used from the pantry, fridge and cabinets. Usually "extras" are intentionally provided or left behind by previous renters. Instructions on how to use the oven would be helpful (I think it is a convection microwave, but not sure). I did manage to reheat some quiche, but I'm not sure how I did it. The location is a bit out of the centre (but that is clear on the listing), but the price reflects that and it is a fair price for Paris. I am not sure I would have felt safe at night in the immediate area on my own (I had my adult son with me), but there are lots of restaurants and night life just a few blocks away. Metro options are decently close and the bus is at the door so it was very easy to get around Paris.

This was a lovely flat in a nice neighborhood. Extremely convenient to get around via bus, train or both. The view is amazing. Happy hour on the balcony (with a cover for rain!) was very special. We went to visit the Sacre-Coeur Basilica, which was beautiful, but our view from the flat was almost as good! When you stay here, be sure to go to the nearby park and walk around the lake and see the island temple and the cave. The most interesting city park we’ve seen! Jean Pierre was a great host. If you are not European, be sure to get instructions on how to use the stovetop (be sure to only use induction cookpots) and the washer. Highly recommend this place!!

The location of this property is an ethnically diverse neighborhood, with easy access to bus (right out front door) & two metro lines within easy walking distance. Grocery stores, pastry shops, bars & eclectic restaurants surround the apartment, as well as a large, beautiful park for walking, running or picnics. Unfortunately, the owner of this rental lives full time in the apartment, meaning there is too much stuff everywhere & in every room. There were very used sponges & rags in both the kitchen & bathroom; towels, only one bath & one hand towel for each of us for a week stay, were threadbare, did not match, creating the feel of staying in a friend's brother's apartment; every room was cluttered, especially the kitchen, making it impossible to cook, something I was looking forward to doing.
