Convenient place to stay right in the heart of Laon

The location is stunning with great views of the cathedral. Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore more as we arrived late and had to depart early, but Laon is a wonderful atmospheric place to visit and we will certainly return.

We ate in the restaurant below (and have done several times before). The menu is great for meat eaters, but unfortunately we were travelling with two vegetarians and the choice for them was really rubbish to be honest.

A very pleasant stopover.

The view to the cathedral is stunning. We arrived late due to traffic (around 9pm) and the restaurant stayed open to accommodate us. Very friendly service.

Wonderful Atmosphere by the Cathedral

Laon is a perfect stop over for anyone heading to the Grand Est. We had a lovely room facing the cathedral. The atmosphere was enchanting, especially with the evening light display in the square. Dining in the hotel’s restaurant in the square with a view of the cathedral made it a special overnight stay.

Well priced, clean, spacious and excellently located apartment.

The apartment and its location are both perfect. You are facing the cathedrale and above the restaurant (which is a nice thing - no noise or smell). It is all set up for self-catering which we didn't need, but this meant there is also a spacious living room/kitchen. The owners also speak perfect English and can organise (for €10 per night) parking which is three minutes walk away.

An enjoyable stay in a traditional, French hotel.

The location right in the centre of the city and facing directly onto the west end of the cathedral is amazing - when you get there! Access by car was interesting navigating the steep, narrow streets. Secure parking was available a short walk from the hotel. Our room looked directly onto the cathedral - quite some view both by day and night. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant and breakfast included fruit juices, ham and cheese in addition to the the usual bread and pastries.

A real treat to stay opposite the wonderful Cathedral in a beautiful hilltop medieval city.

The location was absolutely fabulous. A wonderful medieval city to visit on our last night in France. We did not have breakfast.

On the night we stayed there was live music playing until 11pm followed of course by loud chatter for some time following. Air con might have been nice as we were all rather hot in the night and had to keep the windows closed to keep the outside noise down.

Superb!

This was one of the best appartments we have stopped in! Clean, well appointed, plenty of cups, glasses etc. good kitchen equipment, loads of space, excellent breakfast. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a truly superb meal with good service and a good childrens menu ( our grandchildren were staying nearby! ) The view of the basilica was stunning and the views from the ramparts wondreful. In truth, we could not fault the place.

One night stopover, was in a lovely location, breakfast was adequate.

Location was good, excellent shower

Due to extreme hot weather 38’c no fan or a/c available. Windows were restricted due to fittings of the blinds of which one was missing . We requested a fan but was informed none available. Breakfast was basic and pre laid out on the table where flies were able to get onto the food. (Bread and two mini Croissants)

A remarkable Abbey right outside our window and an outstanding restaurant downstairs

The location is fabulous - being directly opposite the cathedral. Room was clean and a good size. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. Staff were great and the food was outstanding.

Not just a Logis, the food and accommodation were of a much higher standard.

Bistrot restaurant punched well above its weight and produced an unexpectedly excellent dinner. Room was larger than expected, quiet and comfortable and right in front of the Cathedral.

Appreciated the Nespresso machine and the good quality tea bags. Bottle of water was provided. Nice toiletries. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, excellent wine, would highly recommend. Friendly staff. Great location.

Great location, great stay!

Great location opposite the Cathedral with a fabulous restaurant and open on a Sunday night - we think it may have been the only one in Laon! We enjoyed an excellent meal with an impressive selection of very good wines. The rooms were very comfortable, warm, clean and modern - generous supply of coffee and tea in the room. Parking was easy wasn't a problem. Highly recommended!

There was quite a lot of noise from the street very early in the morning and the light outside the hotel shone brightly through the blind into our room - thankfully I had a sleep mask and we all managed to get back to sleep after the noise disturbance! We found the pillows a little hard but this may just be our preference.

The Logis du Parvis is an atmospheric and stunning square

Opposite the stunning cathedral Fabulous medieval citadel Excellent restaurant and very welcoming staff Extremely comfortable room

The parking is difficult as expected in a small square with narrow roads. There is public parking nearby. Although we had a fully loaded car we felt it was safe to leave it and this in no way detracted from our delightful overnight stay.

Great hotel in a fantastic setting in front of the cathedral

The hotel was above the restaurant with a great view of the cathedral. the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The only problem we had was a group of noisy people in the square outside the hotel who disturbed us through the night until 3am. Obviously this isn’t the hotels fault but as it was so hot we had to leave the window open and our sleep was disturbed.
