Fantastic location in woods, very peaceful, well located for the Highlands. Clean and well equipped. Overlooks Blackmuir woods with access straight onto public footpaths.
Bed slightly uncomfortable, but not a huge issue. No internet but phone data is fine in the property.

The location was wonderful both in terms of the forest setting and nearby eating places. Dingwall was easy to get to too.
The location is also an extremely good location to bag a hat full of Munroes which is why we stayed there. When we are back in the area this is where we will be staying.
There is everything you need for self catering and the beds were super comfortable. My mate said it’s the best night sleep he has had away from home !
The utility room was a real bonus and the cabin is easy to keep warm and cosy.
The shower lacked water pressure/flow of water which wasn’t a problem but a good shower is nice at the end of a hard day in the hill.

The location of the holiday home in the forest, far from civilization, delighted me. The house contains everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, rooms.
A large terrace allows you to enjoy your morning coffee with the chirping of birds. A large selection of hiking trails around the accommodation.
Information on how to enter the accommodation unit should be provided at least that morning.
The cottage was open but difficult to get to at night. There are no directions from the main road or on the field path leading to it. This could be improved or at least get detailed directions via email, booking.com.
At least one double bed should have 2 duvets. It's not just couples who travel and often don't want to share a duvet.

Fab location tucked away in the woods. Simple and clean property for a getaway. Easy to get into the village for provisions and eat/drink.

The cottage had an excellent location - although it wasn't clear where it was at first. We loved the back deck overlooking the woods. It was well equipped and especially clean.
The directions for getting to the property needs some serious updating. It was not easy to figure out. We would have liked to stay at least three nights!

The view and tranquility of the lodge was perfect with wildlife just passing along in front as we sipped our coffee in the morning.
Bed was not to our liking it was a bit soft for us, and the shower was not really up to standard although there was a bath.

Very spacious lodge, clean & tidy. You feel if your a million miles away in the middle of the forest amazing. Great for local walks & a great base for doing the NC500. We went to Skye, Durness, Applecross, John o groates, Nairn & loads more Brilliant

Otter lodge is in an excellent location. Easy to get to but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Peace, quiet, tranquility and the odd deer peeking through the trees. Bliss
I wish we had remembered to pack two deckchairs for sitting in the sun at the back of the property as the front decking area doesn’t get direct sun (although tree bathing is far healthier).

Very well appointed. All mod cons. Masses of hot water. The most comfortable beds. Privacy. None of the Lodges looked into another. And the peacefulness.
If you wanted to watch the television whilst you were there it was a bit difficult. But we were no experts. There was no internet connection but modern mobiles have mobile data for communicating.
