Juniper Cottage

The location was fantastic, parking also. The cottage was ideal, all facilities and comfortable.

The bath wasnt clean on arrival, and also the bedding smelt a little fusty.

Well equipped, clean, good location and cosy.

Bed was a bit too firm, and no yard/garden for the dog

Fantastic location being just a short walk from the centre of Ambleside and having a variety of beautiful places in the area. The facilities were good with a large smart TV, reasonable broadband and plenty of space for solo travellers or couples. The bed was comfortable too.

Unfortunately cleanliness was a let down as the bathroom didn't look to have been cleaned for a long time. The toilet was dirty and there was urine in the bowl, around the back of the toilet and on the floor. There was thick dust above the bathroom mirror and grime around the floor edges and a curly hair on the bath. It was irritating having to clean up after travelling almost 200 miles and the kitchen bin also hadn't been emptied. For these reasons I wouldn't stay again which is a shame because it should be a great little place to stay.
