The damp smell in the apartment Bought a air freshner and opened the windows a bit but still smelt damp It even got onto our clothes in the wardrobe

Nice little place but dated . Had all you needed

The double bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been on . We had to use the 2 single beds in the other bed room that wasn't ideal ! Slightly constant smell but not that to bad

Weather not so good, and very breezy location. Nice flat - cleaning could be better.

Self catering. Flat fine for two, a bit small for more. A short drive to the nearest supermarket. Not too far from the town - walking distance for the fit and able.

Location - near to beach as stated, but through a short path, up a steep slope and steps over a sea wall. Should be stated in description as not suitable for anyone with physical difficulties or disabilities. Also, a long walk to anywhere for the not so fit. Low tide was a long way out, but Surf not to blame for that of course. Flat clean on surface but closer inspection showed cleaning to be inadequate. Some damage to refrigerator shelving.

Comfortable ,handy but grubby.

Location was great. We slept in single beds as double was too hard but they were very clean. Shower room and toilet were very clean but the rest , e.g. Skirting boards,under sideboard, side cooker and oven were dusty and dirty.

If Surf had had a spring clean it would have been perfect.

Close proximity to the beach and dog friendly.

The apartment smelt musty but we were probably the first guests this year. Also if the proprietors had left a few basic cleaning products and necessities ie. bleach, surface cleaner, kitchen rolls, more than 2 binliners for 3 adults for a week and more than the 2 toilet rolls between us, it would have meant we didn't have to go on a shopping spree!!

Location of the property good, size of the property and the facilities were good.

Location was good for us, size of the propery for 3 adults and a teenager. The facilities in the property were good and beds were verycomfotable . It was also a advantage of not having to take bedding or towels.

Could have done with been cleaner as there was a constant smell of damp, like it had not been used for a while .

Great break with the dog!

Dog friendly Excellent location.

Only 1 loo roll for 3 adults! No bin liners or cleaning products available. We bought surface wipes, dishcloths and tea towels with us but would have liked to be able to clean up properly during our stay!

Not habitable until the carpets are replaced the stench is awful

Close to the beach nice shower

The stench from the damp in the carpets has gotten into everything and is overwhelming. We opened all the Windows ,door brought air freshener and fabric freshener however nothing took the stench away we went home and washed all our things to get rid of the smell . It is the carpets and nothing will remove the smell apart from changing them . We left because we couldn't breath that in its unhealthy and a shame because it's a nice place to stay otherwise . We tried to contact owner but the number was engaged and due to being a special week for us we just didn't need the stress
