In need of a good clean and refurb, could be brilliant.
Good location for the show ground. Nice open plan living area, great for a group. Good size rooms all on-suite
The bed in the old stone room was lumpy and creaky, the carpets had some suspect stains, the wall looks mouldy and smells a little damp, the shower was a trickle and had no rubber so water went on floor. The carpet in the other double room needs replacing as threadbare. But least the shower here was good. We were 2 hours late into the property as they forgot we were coming and it needed cleaning. The “welcome” basket wasn’t changed, so had an open bottle of fizzy and an empty bottle of processo in! Though we were given biscuits and crisps the next day. The owner was nice on our last day when we had no water due to a frozen pipe.

Mould in the bedroom, furniture tired and shabby, kitchen utensils poor, showers dirty, beds uncomfortable, bed linen poor.

excellent lay out, beds need updating and cleaning needs to be a little better but overall excellent value for money good location, good seating area in the garden.

Exceptional
Large, beautifully airy and light place. Lovely to have all bedrooms en-suite. Lambing was in progress, with some born the day before we arrived and two more just before we left. Nice to be able to wander at leisure around the animals and see rare breeds up close. Owners very welcoming and friendly. All in all a great holiday!
