A Villa Gili Air

Honestly, everything was perfect from the very beginning. We were welcomed with great kindness and hospitality, and we immediately felt at home. They even came to pick us up on foot at the port of Gili Air and helped us carry our heaviest luggage — a simple gesture, but one that we truly appreciated. They also did the same when it was time for us to check out. Throughout our entire stay, every request and need we had was handled with exceptional kindness, speed, and efficiency. For example, I had forgotten to bring an SD card for my GoPro, and within 24 hours they managed to get one for me directly from Lombok and delivered it to me the following day. That level of attention to their guests is truly exceptional. Overall, it is clear that the property is managed with great care by the entire staff. Everyone made us feel like part of the family throughout our stay. The property is also in an excellent location, always clean and well maintained, with beautiful rooms and a spectacular swimming pool. A special mention also goes to the breakfast. Every evening, they asked us what we would like and what time we wanted it delivered directly to our room. The quality of the food was truly excellent. Even our 4-year-old daughter, who is usually a little hesitant when it comes to trying new dishes and flavors, really enjoyed eating food she had never tried before. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a worry-free stay in a beautiful, welcoming environment with impeccable service. Finally, I would like to give a special thank you to June and Denis, with whom I had the pleasure of building a wonderful relationship, to the point that I now consider them friends as well. They are two truly special people and absolutely deserve a special mention. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so special! We will definitely come back!

Nothing but good things to say

The staff were fantastic, the location is great just near the harbour but not close enough to have any noise. The villa is clean and private.

It was great, no complaints

This is our second stay at A Villa and our third stay on Gili Air. . The staff here are wonderful ,Andri on reception is really helpful and everyone is friendly. The room is huge, spotlessly clean and quiet as it is just the perfect distance from the busy beach street, easy five minute walking distance but away from the noise. The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to look after you. A nice touch is the twenty litre water dispenser in each villa to save using plastic bottles. Flip and I will be back again for our fifth trip to Lombok and the Gillis next year! And will definitely book here again.

Unfortunately the only negative thing we notice is the lack of maintenance on the property. The outside area badly needs some painting , the pool and decking needs some maintenance, and what was a pretty little garden is very overgrown with weeds. The owners really need to attend to this as we have seen the villas deteriorating in a year. . No fault of the staff, but the owners need to have a few repairs done .

Unfortunately we did have a rat on our room one night due to being close to trees and the style of roof. It is dated and needs a lick of paint especially when there are much newer hotels and stays at the same price.
