Harbour Island is home to the prestigious White Marlin Open, the largest one week billfish tournament on the East Coast. Units and boat slips book early for this event which includes internationally recognized master anglers and virtually every major sportfishing boat dealer. The weigh-ins each evening are a major attraction as tuna, wahoo, white marlin and blue marlin are brought to the scale in pursuit of millions of dollars in prize money. A must see event! No internet access from October to April.

Nice location. Nice views. The linen package is not worth the cost- bring your own towels and sheets. The beds had used dirty comforters and covers on them that I had to remove and store until the linens came. The floors were not cleaned well and had food from the previous guests. Overall, not very clean. Once I took the time to clean, everything was good. This property is in a nice, safe central location, with nice views of the bay. My family had a nice time.

The location was great and I loved being right on the water of the bay. It was a quieter neighborhood away from boardwalk activity. The drawback was the cleanliness of the property. I didn't mind that it was a little outdated, but when the pans are dirty, a cupboard is falling off the hinges and a starter roll for toilet paper isn't even supplied it can feel a little unwelcoming. The issues we had are easy to fix so hopefully the owner takes note because if you're looking for a great location, this is the place to be!
