Great stay on the coast of County Clare

We had a lovely quiet stay in Cottage 11. We had a view of the sea from our open plan dining/living room and from the master bedroom. The kitchen had a dishwasher and separate washer and dryer. We chatted with host Jennifer's mother each day, which was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We swam in the pool on 3 separate evenings and it was never crowded (maybe 3-4 others using it at the same time as us). We easily visited Ennis and the Kilkee Cliffs and also ventured out to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. I wasn't sure if the decor would be dated based on some of the photos online but our cottage looked refurbished recently enough. We loved this cottage and location. Edited to add: Cottage had fast and reliable Wifi.

Fantastic location, friendly hosts and dog friendly

Jennifer was such a friendly host. The house was spectacular, amazing sea views and very clean and spacious. The playground and tennis court were great especially with the children, who made lots of friends. The pool was a win, lovely to be able to have a swim in the evening after a day out and tire out the kids for bed! Being allowed to have our dog with us was the deal breaker for us as we wanted somewhere dog friendly and it was great she could come along.

great spot. Nice simple cottages, nothing too fancy but everything you need, good location. Lovely owners very welcoming, check in and check out was so easy. Will definitely stay again whenever I'm back in the area.

Excellent location, accommodations and owners.

This was one of the best location we have ever had for our family reunion. Great communication even though I was booking from abroad. With a wide range of ages to entertain, the cottages were superb. Family friendly owners, imaginative playground, warm and extremely clean pool and a full tennis court. A paddock with two beautiful quiet donkeys to greet. The pictures here don’t even do it justice. We will certainly be coming back in the years ahead.

The swimming pool, it's a great resource. The location was good, the house was clean, beds were comfortable, maybe a king size bed would be a nice addition for master bedroom. Bathrooms were renovated nicely. Good kitchen facilities

Perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing weekend with the children.

The house was very clean and beds and pillows were extremelly comfortable. I liked how the kitchen was fully equiped, making it easy to put together a quick dinner for the kids after a long drive. Jennifer was brilliant by sharing directions of nearest markets, beach and top fish & chips place. My 7 years old had a blast walking barefoot on the grass and feeding the donkeys. The ocean view is a real treat!

Holiday cottage was brilliant 3 large bedrooms one with en-suite! Loads of storage, bathroom very modern and kitchen very well equipped. But the location and view from cottage is unbelievable

Excellent price comparison to a hotel stay, great location, excellent facilities and very clean.

The house was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a great added bonus for a holiday cottage setting and was very clean and well heated. It was not a busy time to stay and only a few cottages were occupied but the hosts made sure when we needed to use the pool that it was open and fully heated. They were also on hand for any advice both about the cottages and about the area in general which was great.
