Our home in Verona

This is our 3rd year that we are staying here. Its been like out home in Verona. Its close by Marmomac fair that we are attending each year. Its a clean & quiet apartment. 10 min walk distance to fair area. There is coffee machine in common area. This time we stayed there with our 5 months old baby, the crib was super comfy she slept well. Tommaso; the host is super helpful. Hope to see him next year!

We stayed all of the rooms in 3 year :) All of the rooms bathrooms are get very wet in each use.

Nightmare.

We waited fir 2 hours, had no wifi, no contact method, no phone number, couldn't get hold of any staff, and I only had one day in Verona, and a show to attend. In the end we just chose to leave, and checked into a commercial hotel. This is a very bad system, very inhuman, never heard a hotel checkin time set at 4 pm and drive you out before 11 am. I paid to learn a lesson.

A great apartment, good value, but a little far from centre

Comfortable, effective and absolutely necessary Aircon. Modern bathroom. Great shower.

The location was not perfect for my purposes and this is not any reflection on the host at all, but I struggled with finding buses to and from central Verona - they just didn’t arrive, and the stop is a good few minutes walk from the apartment. It takes about 30 minutes walking to get to Porta Nuova station, and it is not a pleasant way along busy roads and industrial decay.

Great stay, comfortable accomodation, would definitely come back

The AC unit - a must in the summer. The comfortable bed, and the host offered us clean towels on one of the last days. Clean bathrooms and cleaning of the communal spaces once a day.

There were not much kitchen ustensils - only 2 wine glasses, 2 bowls and a mug, but no forks, knives or anything.

Very reasonable choice

Really nice cozy apartment. There are three units in the apartment space with shared "living room" where is fridge and coffee maker available. However we didn't meet anyone for whole stay. Whole check in / out process is self-made, you'll recieve instructions into whatsapp/e-mail etc. Despite the apartment is further from the city center, there are bus stations nearby so you can get there within 10-15 minutes without any troubles. Also there are plenty of cafés, bistros, restaurants nearby which is very convenient. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was clean and modern.

to be honest I dunno how it is with cleaning during stays... our room wasn't cleaned during ours (which didn't mind since we stayed here for only 3 nights)

I wasnt aware it was like an airbnb. Im not from Europe so their first floor starts with 0. And it was very difficult to navigate where exactly the apartment is. A neighbor helped out. She was a bit rude since I tried telling her I couldnt find the mail box. Luckily she just took me to show me where the apartment was.

Wouldn't stay here again

This wasn't clear it was an apartment to share..? We were so confused! We arrived to pick up the keys and thought we were getting keys from the door and walk to another apartment but no! It was one only apartment with 3 rooms so this is an apartment to share with other ppl. Bed wasn't comfy, air con was very dusty and didn't work properly. No soap provided for shower. Shower was also bad.

Perfect base for Verona - modern, clean & comfortable!

The room was very clean and modern, the bathroom was really lovely with the big waterfall shower head! Also it was brilliant that the TV had Netflix on, made the evenings a lot cosier. There is a big supermarket a few minutes walk away that had everything we needed, including a cafe that did a really nice breakfast.

The only downside was the distance from Verona city centre, about a 30-40 minute walk. Be aware taxis are not the easiest to get hold of!

The 'private entrance' was not so private, because we didn't knew there were some other guests on the room next to us.( I got out of the shower and heared other persons inside..awkward for that moment) Basically it is the same entrance common for 2 apartments, also the kitchen area.

parking, smooth check-in, sparkling clean and quite

Place is really good and located in calm surroundings. arena is in a 30 min walking distance through the park, so if you travel with a car, you can park for free around the place (just watch out for fair days (check the signs)) and spare yourself from a trouble of searching for a parking spot in a center. around the place there are cool bakeries, meat and vegetable shops, cafes and places to buy fresh juice.
