Les logis des Vignobles Saint Emilion en Duplex n 2 avec terrasse

No breakfast it was an apartment.

No shade on the terrace and it was too hot to sit out on until the sun moved direction. The accommodation sits above a restaurant which uses a wood burning stove to cook its meat, on occasions when the wind moved direction you'd have smoke billowing towards you. There is a huge list of things you should not do, I've never seen anything like it and you are reminded of this by text the day before you leave. Be aware also that it's made clear that it's your responsibility to take you rubbish, bottles etc to the recycling bins which are nowhere near the property. Nowhere near. Failure to do so could end up with you being charged by the property after you leave. Furthermore there is little or no soundproofing. We could hear everything that was going on in the bathroom of the next door apartment.

We self catered. Good location.

The garden gate was difficult to lock.

Fantastic location in the middle of saint emilion,free parking a 3 minute walk away,there is large outdoor deck which looks over a restaurant,sounds awkward but not at all as it’s quite private,self check in instructions were easy to follow.if you’re the type of person that can’t carry a suitcase up a small flight of stairs,this is probably not for you

The property was beautifully appointed with everything we could possibly need. The location was superb, positioned above an excellent restaurant, serving beautifully cooked meats from the open fire/ bbq grill. All Located a short stroll into the ancient and stunning village of Saint Emilion. Our host Fabienne was incredibly helpful, messaging through WhatsApp regarding our booking, and places to visit locally. Would highly recommend staying here, it ticks all the boxes! We would love to stay here again one day!
