Hôtes de Saint-Emilion II

It could have been made more clear that check in was at the wine shop.

We were a big group of couples and friends, so we booked the entire place, and it far exceeded any expectations we had! Each room was spacious and comfortable, and a cot was provided for a toddler travelling with us. The location was right in the centre of town, so we could walk to wineries, restaurants, and bars, yet it was very quiet at night, so we had great sleeps while staying. Our host was wonderful, letting us check in early, showing us where we could park for free nearby (though there was plenty of paid parking available too), and offering an amazing wine tasting for us in the shop downstairs. We would highly recommend staying at Hôtes de Saint-Emilion!

Friendly and helpful correspondence prior to arrival and helpfulness during stay. Early check-in, because the room was ready. Easy storage of luggage after check-out. Pleasant room, good air-conditioning, good shower. Nice people. A good experience altogether. A very beautiful town.

Maybe a little expensive, although better value than most comparable places in the town. Clearly Saint Émilion is quite an expensive destination.

Location, clean and recently renovated, good communication

A tiny appartment not fit for 4 (no extra sofa bed in the bedroom, although it was inficated in the description, simply no place for it, we had to use a foldable bed which occupied all the space in the living room and blocked the door), the air conditioning works well for the living space below but does not reach the upper part of the duplex (the bedroom) so during the heat wave it was very hot there.
