This is a very authentic traditional Japanese home on a quiet walkway overlooking the river. It still feels like the family home it once was. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He provided some Japanese treats and parking was arranged for us nearby. It's easy walking to a major shopping center, restaurants, a small neighborhood park and Kenroku=en Garden and Kanazawa Castle. Bathrooms on both levels. Lovely view from upper balcony across the river.
Since this is a traditional home, the staircase to the bedroom area is very steep. It does have railing which is helpful.
