Plaza Mayor Suites & Apartments

The decor was lovely and well thought out, the apartment was roomy and the bed large and comfortable. The kitchen area was well laid out and well equipped with a nearby table and chairs for dining ideal for a couple. There was a good refrigerator, kettle, microwave and hob with plenty of pans and cutlery if wanted. The shower was large and very easy to use. Opening the shutters revealed a small balcony giving a nice view down the street. We arrived a whole day late due to travel issues and the gentleman on reception was incredibly helpful with information and resending self check-in details that made finding and getting into our apartment really easy even around midnight. On leaving he also booked us a taxi with details of how to meet it and it was right on time. He was warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I’m sorry now that I didn’t get his name. In terms of location it’s brilliant, literally a minute or so by foot from Plaza Mayor. There’s a supermarket on the corner and numerous places to eat from fast food/take-away to restaurants close by.

One tiny doubt was that of two balconies, one seemed shared with an adjoining room so we tended to leave that window locked and closed the shutters when we went out. That was an insignificant point compared to the rest and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
