Beautiful location really peaceful all the family loved the cottage and the setting.
Lots of wildlife on the doorstep enjoyed watching the birds especially the birds of prey red kites and buzzards.
Also being able to go on a walk from the doorstep was definitely a bonus.
Not to mention if you get a clear night sky the stars are amazing.
Then to cozy down after busy day in front of the log burner is the cherry on top.
Will definitely be back at some point.
Only thing I didn’t like was I didn’t stay for longer.

An amazing, tranquil cottage in the heart of rural Wales. The accommodation is very clean with everything you will need for a comfortable stay.
Great base for visiting the sites around the Brecon Beacons. We only stayed for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer.

Lovely cottage with enough space for our family of 4. Beds were very comfortable (though a bit short for tall people like us). Views were very nice with the sheep and their lambs right in the backyard. Kitchen and equipment was great as well. Really like the cupboard filled with games and even a picknick set! And the host was very kind and welcoming to us!! Lots of information available at the cottage about activities in the areas. Really enjoyed our stay!
The beds were comfortable but a bit short for tall people.. Also; when the weather changed from rainy to sunny and back, we all the sudden had a lot of woodlice in the upstairs bedrooms. Not a big problem for us, but good to know if you are not keen on little bugs entering your room through the tiny cracks in the walls...

We were greeted by the host Maryl on arrival. She had a big smile on her face she made us feel very welcome.I was stunned by the beauty of the cottage and the surroundings,it is out of the world beautiful.I felt very overwhelmed and truly amazed. The fire was lit and was so cozy and warm. The whole cottage has a very cozy feeling ,high quality and sustainable. The beds, the duvets and blankets, all furniture is very comfortable. There are little touches here and there ,which just put a smile on your face .I was truly impressed of how thoughtful the hosts and how they created the whole space just to enhance the experience. It’s spotless as well.I am impressed of how they can maintain such a level of cleanliness in such a rural location. The cottage is in the middle of rolling hills ,grazing sheep.Absolutely perfect for hikes or just relaxing. We we’re out and about most of the time didn’t care about the weather at all ,just enjoying it.
Wi-Fi was good even though there was no reception which I absolutely loved it.There is a little spot outside the house where you can check you texts or missed calls and that’s it.
We had great time maybe one of our best holidays ever.
Nothing not to like.Just so perfect

Absolutely wonderful, secluded, comfortable and perfect as a base to explore area with family, including a 4 yr old. Loved the fact that you could walk for miles just from the front door! Just north are some fantastic picture perfect forest and river walks. Close enough to a "large" town so no worries if you forgot something! Beds were comfortable and the entire space was well equipped. Explored caves, Beacons, coast and forests, all in easy reach! Bluetooth stereo was an additional pleasure, home away from home!! The handmade teddy's in my daughter's bed were a hit!!!
Really missed having a dedicated BBQ area.. Perfect outdoor layout to support one. Not end of the world, I was aware and brought my own BBQ.

Cae’r Beili is an absolutely beautiful and immaculately presented cottage. We loved learning about its fascinating history by looking through the book that documented its sympathetic and unbelievable renovation. The idyllic location and surrounding landscape meant that we had a weekend of much needed tranquility: We could have sat in the conservatory all day watching the many birds that visited the garden. In the evenings, we snuggled up in the cosy lounge area and made the most of the awesome sound system whilst the log fire was burning away. The secluded location allowed for excellent star gazing too! We also really appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings and decor; the gorgeous wool blankets, the fresh flowers, the Welsh branded accessories and not to mention the Christmas tree and festive ornaments dotted around! Meryl was a super friendly and welcoming host who was always on hand with any questions and queries prior to our visit! Cae’r Beili really is a one of a kind property and we hope to be returning again next year!

Lovely place. When we arrived the fire was already lit in the fireplace, making us feel very welcome and cozy right away. The house was very private. Views of fields and lovely birds feeding on the bird feeder outside the winter garden. Couple who rent the place are very welcoming.
