The place was fantastic and the location was outstanding. For our short weekend stay, we hung out on the balcony or walked to the Pier. A short walk up Del Mar to more shops and restaurants than you could possibly visit. Room was comfortable and amenities were great.

We had a 4-night stay at the Big Fish and really enjoyed it. Great location, very comfortable, and a ton of attention to detail, like kitchen and beach amenities. The beach was close, and the view was great. San Clemente is away from all the traffic near LA, and we were close to the wine region of Temecula.

Patty and I love San Clemente and have stayed in many units over the years with our kids and grandkids. The Big Fish unit was one of the nicest we’ve experienced and the location right by the pier with the balcony view is as good as it gets. Shannon, our host, was perfect and always available… the overall experience was a 10 out of 10 and we’ll definitely look forward to future stays at Big Fish, Bigger Fish… the Best Fish!!!!!! Really nice place in a perfect location—literally steps from coffee, restaurants, and the sand!! Equally, the owners and property manager are a pleasure to work with. We would stay here again, so why the overall rating of 4? Just a couple of unfortunate events: the refrigerator stopped working on Fri afternoon, and the sound of moving patio furniture upstairs was sometimes disruptive at night.

Shannon did an amazing job welcoming our family to Big Fish! Not only was she helpful in getting us acquainted with the property but she stayed in touch throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Being that we lived in San Clemente for many years and were now visiting, , we knew we’d love the location ...and it lived up to all expectations! Big Fish also provided some welcomed “toys” like soft boards and boogie boards for our young family of four boys. We can’t wait to come back!

Great property with amazing hosts that made sure our stay went well and we had everything needed. Property was clean, well supplied, especially for a day at the beach with towels, chairs and umbrellas, and very comfortable for a family of 4. The sunsets are amazing. Beach is a 2 block walk. Downtown with many shops and restaurants is short walk. We hit the local Farmers Market on Sunday to get supplies! We really enjoyed just sitting on the deck after a full day on the beach surfing watching the local activity and sunsets. Thank you Desiree and Shannon! We will be back.

This property is just as amazing as it looks. Ocean views from both bedrooms and the San Clemente Pier is right around the corner. What isn't pictured is the kind and attentive hosts. We come to the area very often, and have stayed in many places, but this is the best. We would love to return.

Big Fish was a very comfortable house. We had a wonderful time. 私達は近くに住む親戚がいたのでチェックイン時にきてもらい通訳してもらったのですが、英語が苦手な方は注意事項など聞けないので少し大変かもしれません。とても清潔で綺麗な家、海は目の前、本当に素敵な所です。ベッドはふかふかで毎晩ぐっすり眠ることが出来ました。近くに買い物が出来るスーパーがあり(品揃えよく綺麗な店舗)大きなキッチンで食事を作ったりする楽しみもあります。昨年に続きこの街を訪れるのは２度目ですが、ますます好きになりました。

Perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay in Big Fish in San Clemente. The location is perfect! There are ocean views from every room and you are so close to the pier, beach and restaurants. It has a great deck and we enjoyed sitting out there reading and people watching for hours. We also loved that there was garage parking too. The condo has been fully remodeled and impeccably decorated. You can tell that there is a real pride of ownership in this property. Plus it is fully stocked with everything you could ever need during your stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will always have fond memories of our stay in Big Fish (our first vacation with our son) and plan to be back!

Great location to everything!!! Walk to old town, pier, surf spots and a short drive to the Mission and SoCal attractions... Given the central location it was a little busy with some noise (we left the windows open) but that didn’t matter to us! Loved the decor, ocean views, layout/amenities, AND the outdoor surfers shower was a bonus. Owners were great. We’d rent Big Fish again.

My family loved our stay at Big Fish! It was very clean and had everything we needed. It's a beautiful condo, and our sons loved the bunk beds. Desiree and her associate Wendy were very helpful in getting us settled. The location at the pier is amazing. We return to SC to visit family yearly, so we will definitely be looking to return to Big Fish! Thank you!

Everything newly updated. Clean, very comfortable and bright. Lots of windows with a view of the ocean and sea breezes at night. Beds comfortable, bathrooms nicely appointed and washer/dryer in condo. 2-Car garage attached for your cars though you can walk to nice restaurants and boutique shopping. Kitchen is great with high end appliances and very enjoyable to cook in while gazing out at the ocean. Super nice owners eager to help you have the best vacation. 😁 We would have given it top rating of 5 stars but for a fair amount of people and car traffic to and from the beach. We do give it a 4 1/2 stars 🏄‍♀️🏖🌊🌴

Big Fish could not have been a more perfect condo for our stay in San Clemente celebrating my father's 80th birthday. The open floor plan with gorgeous views allowed us quality family time during meals and while watching the Olympics while simultaneously giving us space for quiet time to read, relax, and just kick back and enjoy the scenery. Comfortable and well appointed beds and furniture. Top notch kitchen amenities and wonderful, welcoming host. Clean, modern bathrooms. Ample parking. Loved the beach chairs, buckets and volleyball, too! Could not ask for more with the location, just a short walk to the pier, beach, or shops of San Clemente. We lucked out with gorgeous winter weather, sunning on the beach and exercising on the beach trail daily. Can't wait to return!
