Spice Villa Thekkady

Breakfast was really good, but the location was too far from all tourist attractions. room and other facilities were good but not upto the cost.

The Tree house was nice and quiet , looking out to the tree canopy, we stayed 2 nights, the full day we went to do the lake boat ride at 7.30am at Periya Tiger Reserve I had trouble booking it online so messaged Spice Villa and they organised and bought the tickets for us, organised a tuktuk to get us there as well, so lovely of them and very helpfulto as it was worth the boat ride, the food for breakfast and dinners were very flavourful as well, all in we really enjoyed our stay, they also arranged a car to drive us to Varkala

Nothing , our stay was lovely, not a criticism, but it would be lovely to have a biscuit to go with the tea facilities ,as it's a way from shops, and it was lovely to drink tea on the verandah,listening to the birds, watching birds squirrels etc in the tree canopy

Amazing food!!! Absolutely delicious and fresh. Very helpful service and comfortable, spacious rooms. It was very cool to stay in a cardamom plantation, the plants were beautiful.

The size of the room and the cleanliness

It is only a home stay. Hot water availability inside wash room was limited. It was extremely cold and we had to ask for all basic needs. The power kept going and coming. The tvm was not working at all. The promised good breakfast was a fiasco.
