From the "beach house Wellenreiter" there are not 50 meters to the wonderfully fine sandy Baltic Sea beach!

Our "beach house Wellenreiter" stands on a small dune in the dune belt of the idyllic Baltic Sea resort Baabe. You have probably the most beautiful beach of the island of Rügen right in front of you!

Since May 2008, the Ostseebad has been the first place in Germany to receive the "Allergy-friendly Community" certificate, awarded by the European Foundation for Allergy Research (ECARF).

We made a lot of effort in setting up our beach house and hope that you feel comfortable and of course we have also thought of our small holiday guests.

In March / April 2013, we have installed a spa and dared not to tile the walls of the bath, but to provide Moroccan style with a special plaster, this is called Tadelakt. It has been used in the Orient for centuries as a waterproof coating in hammams.
In the bathroom are for you:
• bio sauna
• Whirlpool with hydrojet massage jets + back massage jets + ground air jets + LED light therapy + automatic heating of the bath water during bathing
• Large shower tray 90 x 1.20 m
• Vanity unit with vanity unit, mirror cabinet and hairdryer

• Two ceiling heating panels: infrared heat waves
These heat waves positively affect your immune system, because infrared is wellness heat!
By the temperature presetting for day / night and to your desired temperature setting during the bath use you achieve an efficient heating of the bath without compromise!
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave and Pütt and Pann!
Two bedrooms upstairs with fitted wardrobes and two box spring beds with pocket spring mattresses, as they are in good hotels facilities, for your restful sleep. Large bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe, TV with DVD, small table with vanity mirror + chair
Heating of the bedrooms and the living room :: One Deckenheizpaneel / Wärmewellen, as in the bathroom. No preheating necessary, within a few minutes you can feel this warmth on your body. The air temperature in the room is lower than the sensed heat, this is very good for a healthy sleep and our lungs!
If you are too warm, shut down the thermostat and this lowering of the temperature is immediately noticeable. This fast reaction option stands for economical power consumption!
1 baby travel bed with mattress + 1 high chair in the flat cupboard of the smaller bedroom
The living room is heated with two ceiling panels - infrared heat waves - and in addition there is a stove, so that even in the cold season of coziness no demolition is done.
Furnishing in the living / dining room:
A three-seater sofa, an armchair, coffee table, shelf with books and games, TV table with TV,
large dining room table with 4 chairs, cupboards with glasses, wooden chest for firewood, fireplace and wardrobe corner.
In summer you can have breakfast on the terrace in peace and then go straight to the beach to enjoy the sun, sand and sea.
In the colder seasons beach walks, bike rides or excursions on the island are announced and of course, sauna sessions followed by a dip in the Jacuzzi, then in the Mollidecke on the cozy sofa and a good cup of tea or a glass of red wine. In the stove the fire flickers.

Das Ferienhaus ist urgemütlich und sehr schön gelegen. Wir (Ehepaar Mitte 50) haben nichts vermisst - ganz im Gegenteil waren die vorhandene Sauna und der Whirlpool während unseres Aufenthaltes im März ein ganz besonderer Mehrwert. Wir haben uns vorgenommen, nochmal wieder zu kommen.

Aufgrund der schönen Bilder (dem Vorhandensein einer Sauna und eines Whirlpools) hatten wir uns für dieses Objekt entschieden - es sah sehr gemütlich und süß aus.
Und genau so präsentierte sich das Ferienhaus, dann auch in der Realität - mit einem Manko, dass die Bilder nicht zeigten.
Es war recht schmuddelig (Staub an offensichtlichen Stellen überall im Haus, Stockflecken an der Wand rings um den Whirlpool und an der unteren Kante der Wand im Badezimmer (von der Toilette aus, gut sichtbar), in den Ecken der Waschbecken-Ablage und am Rand des Whirlpools befand sich eine Kalkkruste, total vergilbte (an den Fenstern) und fleckige (Eingangstür) Plissee-Rollos, eine recht schmutzige Pfanne, ein krümmelig schmutziges Backblech, ein klebrig verschmutzter Elektrogrill auf dem Küchenschrank) um hier das auffälligste zu nennen, was man einfach nicht übersehen konnte.
Dieses Ferienhaus könnte ein echtes Schmuckstück sein, auch weil es so gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet ist aber da es anscheinend so lieblos umsorgt wird, kommen wir leider nicht umher es mit dem Ausspruch "Schmuddelige Gemütlichkeit" zu bewerten.
Etwas verwundert hat uns, dass es kein WLAN gab.
Generell - egal welche Frage uns beschäftigte - konnten wir Nichts hilfreiches in dem dicken "Erklärungs" Ordner finden - sodass wir einige Male, die Verwalterin anrufen mussten.
Generell fehlten alle wichtigen Infos kurz und übersichtlich zusammengefasst (in Bezug darauf: wie die Tür abzuschließen ist, denn das ist tricki, wo man den Stromzähler findet, wie der Whirlpool funktioniert, wie und wo man seinen Müll entsorgen kann (denn der dafür vorhandene Schlüssel passt nicht zum Schloss vom Müllplatz).
Besonders verwundert hat uns aber die Tatsache, dass die Verwalterin eine halbe Stunde vor der offiziell angegebenen Auszugszeit (10 Uhr) plötzlich im Haus stand und wir darauf hingewiesen wurden bis 10 Uhr raus zu sein.
Aus all diesen Gründen, werden wir dieses Ferienhaus nicht noch einmal mieten.
