FLH Lux Baixa Flat - Historical Center near Tejo River

Excellent and safe location, everything within a few minutes walk, excellent sound proof windows so it was very quite to sleep and rest, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and living room.

Nice and very convenient it has 2 bathrooms, just had a few stains on the tile grout and silicone around the bathtub..

Posizione Fantastica per visitare Lisbona. Quartiere molto bello e Tranquillo. Appartamento molto spazioso e comodo, dotato di ogni confort.

Rubinetti di Doccia e Vasca da rivedere perchè non funzionavano bene. Cuscini un pò scomodi. Per il resto tutto perfetto.

There is a little smell from the restaurant in the evening

Excellent central location, within walking distance of Alfama and Baixa/Chiado sights, close to 728 bus stop to Belem and many restaurant choices. Tastefully appointed living room. Comfortable bed.

Apart from the location, our main reason for choosing this apartment was the lift access , a rarity in the area. However, when we arrived we found that the lift was out of service, and had been for the past day, a fact FLH which operates several holiday apartments in the building could not have been unaware of. Despite this, nobody contacted us to warn of the malfunction , our telephone call to the company number went unanswered, as did an email (finally received a laconic response “sorry for the inconvenience” eight hours later) and we were forced to lug our suitcases up two steep flights of stairs. The lift was not fixed till the following day. On entering the apartment we heard the sound of running water: the flushing mechanism in the toilet in one of the bathrooms was out of order, with water constantly falling into the bowel. Again our message to the company went unanswered until much later and a repairman was only sent round on the evening of our second day; however he was unable to fix the problem and left promising a colleague would visit the next day. Needless to say, the second repairman never materialized. Add to that the fact that the knob to switch from handheld to overhead shower was missing and that we had to keep the door shut to muffle the sound of constant rushing water –the second bathroom was basically unusable for our entire stay. The kitchen has adequate cutlery and crockery, but no washing up liquid, scouring pad or cloth is provided. No coffee machine or coffee pods. The bedrooms face an inner courtyard and so do not get any noise from the restaurants at the front; however the whirring of numerous air-conditioning units makes it difficult for a light sleeper to open the window at night. Families should be aware that the apartment is not really suitable for more than two people: the second bedroom with a bunk-bed is tiny, there are only four flat pillows in the entire apartment (we both used two) and only two dining chairs for the table.
