Casa Valerie

Wonderfull house with a breathtaking view over Tuscany and a large shared pool. Everything extremely clean and tidy, very well equipped kitchen. A lovely host, we could reach her anytime. We had a great time there and will definitely come again! Thank you!

The view (including the sunsets!) is just fantastic, the pool is excellent and the house itself, including equipment of any kind, does not lack anything!

On our last three days we were unlucky enough to have a pretty noisy and inconsiderate family of eight, including a toddler and a little child, in the house right next to us. As Casa Valerie is a "middle house", there is no chance to "escape" to a quieter sitting area, so if your neighbours on either side decide they do not want to move around the corner of their house (which they can and usually do), you may have a problem.

This is a large, spacious house, the middle section of a block of three, with thick well isolated walls inbetween so absolutely quiet. The house is cosy and comfortable, with two large bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms, a big TV (not used by us) and a very well equipped kitchen (used a lot by us). The view from the terrace, seeing the sunset over the valley is absolutely terrific! There is also a large pool lower down the hill, shared with a few other appartments but there’s really plenty of space and private sunbeds for each apartment. The house is a 5 min drive from Castelmuzio, a lovely historic medieval mini village with what must be the oldest classic style Coop in Italy. Casa Valerie is in a triangle between Pienza (20 min), Montepulciano (20 min) and Sienna (60 min), so ideal for sightseeing. Casa Valerie is defenitely a recommendad place for a lovely stay in the heart of beautiful Tuscany.

Just good to know; the access road is pretty steep and may feel a little offroad. Not recommended for lower seating Ferrari’s. Not a problem whatsoever for our old Volvo though :-).

Casa Valerie is a clean, modern and cosy house located in a true paradise! The house itself, the grounds and especially the view - everything is even better than on photos. The host was exceptionally welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. The pool is huge and well maintained. Already looking forward to come back to this wonderful home!
