very clean and very quiet

bathtubs were not functioning properly

I loved how every thing was labeled by the owner in the condo. I loved that there were 2 bathrooms. I loved the view of the bay in the morning while I had coffee on the balcony. I loved that there were boogie boards for the kids and beach chairs for the beach. The living room furniture was very comfortable. Also our whole family loved how the lamps had chargers for your iPhones. You just plug in the chord in the lamp. There were plenty of chairs on the balcony and the chairs were very comfortable similar to lifeguard chairs. I also liked how John Pass’s village that had plenty of shopping and restaurants was only 6 miles away from our condo.

My kids were 18 and 14. There wasn’t much for them to do if they wanted to go for walks at night. The coffee place near our condo closes at 2:00 p.m. We had to drive to places at night if they wanted to go anywhere. To be fair, there was a miniature golf right next to our condo. that’s the only place that was within walking distance. The other thing I didn’t like is that apparently there was a leak in the shower in one of our bathrooms but we weren’t told about it so we were using the shower. Few days later, someone knocked on our door. We didn’t answer because we didn’t know who it was and our door is locked. All of a sudden this lady unlocks our door and comes in saying, “Hello, Hello.” she was there with couple of workers to take a look at our shower and she thought someone notified us. No one told us by phone, text message or e-mail.” Plus even if no one told us, the lady should not have unlocked the door and went in. What if we were undressed. I have 2 kids and I wouldn’t want anyone walking in without our permission. they should have waited until we checked out out of the condo. I was mortified that she just unlocked the door when we didn’t answer. what if we were in the shower. This needs to be remedied in the future.

we really liked the location.

The property had loud tenants and people were using the pool after hours. before 8:30 people were on their balconies talking very loud. We had to call the maintenance people to fix a few things and the apartment is in need of deep cleaning. The blinds are very dirty. the rugs are stained and also need cleaning. the cleaners had to come and mop the floors When we arrived the flatware and kitchen wasn’t deep cleaned. the knives in the knife block had food stuck to them. the flatware drawer was full of crumbs and the place mats on the table were also full of crumbs. The toaster was rusty and they had to replace it. the master bathroom had a very dirty liner and had to get replaced. the tub is dark and needs to be cleaned with some strong chemicals. my point is that the value of the apartment should have been less for the issues that it has. you have too many rules about cleanliness, don’t supply trash bags and chemicals to keep the place clean but you want me to use my cleaning supplies including paper towels. But we didn’t receive a clean apartment. I don’t know that we will be staying there again unless you make some changes. the last thing is that we couldn’t get into our apartment when we first arrived and no one clases us back until the next day!!
