About this apartment rental
The Apartment was renovated in June 2017, situated between Flea Market (Feira da Ladra) and Alfama Neighborhood (Bairro de Alfama), in Rua (street) do Paraíso. The decor mixes the old, the new, unique objects and furniture for practical use.
It has created an extremely welcoming, urban environment with a touch of unpretentious sophistication: when our guests enter the apartment they will have the sensation of entering a collected world and of rest. Needed after up and down the hills of Lisbon.
The apartment is prepared and equipped to receive 4 people. It has a bedroom with couple bed, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a living room with sofa bed where 2 people can sleep. It is fully equipped and recent refurbishment has made the apartment bright and airy.
The entire apartment is available to guests
The Bairro de Alfama preserves the charm of the old Lisboetas neighborhoods, mixing taverns, Fado houses and new spaces for lunch or dinner. Keeping residents as long as they receive the new habitants with open arms.
In just 10 min on foot you can go to the Sé Catedral through the entire neighborhood of Alfama, visiting and listening to Fado musicians in the bars and restaurants of the area or eat for a few euros. On Tuesdays and Saturdays it has 2 min. Walk to "Feira da Ladra", next to the famous market of Santa Clara. Nearby is also the Mirador de Santa Luzia with a view over the river and the city that you can not miss.
You can get there by metro (Santa Apolónia station is 5 minutes from the apartment), or walking distance, being very close to the center and important places of the city of Lisbon.

We had fun in Lisbon. The apartment was nice and had all the amenatis. It was in a good location.
The only thing that bothered us was the noise from the street until late at night.

Lisbon has become a tourist destination, so it was a welcome treat to be in a place where the apartment and neighborhood retain the flavor of the city. Sophia was friendly as she greeted us promptly, although our arrival time was uncertain. She explained the apartment, and even walked us to a nearby area to show us the better marketing and restaurants. The apartment was a great introduction to Portugal and we enjoyed ourselves there.
