I absolutely loved the property — the preservation of the architectural heritage is outstanding. The way they recreated the authentic Arabic style is elegant and refined. The rooms were impeccably clean, with beautiful scents that made the stay even more pleasant. The staff was extremely courteous and kind, always attentive and professional. The library is a truly unique piece of history and culture — an unforgettable highlight of the experience.
Honestly, everything was perfect. I truly have nothing negative to say — my stay exceeded my expectations in every way.

The hotel is so charming, beautifully build and designed. Great dining options at the premises. Breakfast was really nice. The neighbouring Arabic tea house offers amazing food too. Room was spacious and has all you need. The location is great - next to the souk and historic site. We had lovely time.
The AC smell in the room was a bit off. Luckily we did not need to have it turned on during our stay. Would be great to have some extra towels provided in male sauna.

Loved this location so much that we stayed for 3 nights and had another trip planed and we canceled the location to stay and extra 2 nights. This place is beautiful and it’s like walking into a Time Machine and returning back to the old days of what Dubai really used to be. You feel such an amazing and relaxing feeling. The spa is incredible and the staff goes above and beyond to help and make you feel special.

What I truly appreciated about the hotel is how beautifully they preserved Emirati heritage while presenting it in a modern and highly dignified way. These houses are over a hundred years old, and the effort invested in protecting and restoring this heritage is truly remarkable. They deserve sincere appreciation for achieving such a beautiful and meaningful accomplishment.
There is honestly nothing I did not like about this property. Your heritage defines who you are, and that in itself is incredibly beautiful.

The staff were without exception excellent. Our room was large and extremely well equipped and furnished. All the public areas were very atmospheric.
The morning call to prayer might disturb some people.

Wow, one of the best places we've stayed at. The service was phenomenal. From the moment we dropped our car off to our departure, it was evident that everyone at The Chedi Al Bait wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The facilities are stunning, the breakfast superb, an excellent massage, fun candle making and a charming space rooted in heritage and culture. We loved it and will definitely be back.

A piece of history can be so close 👍
There is no beach nearby because it is in the old town, and the public city beach is not comfortable for couples from Europe.

Staff and amenities were brilliant
Housekeeping wasn’t great, i dropped a pencil the first night and it wasnt moved to be cleaned for the duration of my stay, floors were filthy, shower wasnt cleaned, the property arent accommodating to early or late checkouts, comp breakfast wasnt offered when i arrived early even though they knew i would be, late checkout not possible atall which makes late flights difficult

Staff was quite friendly, the apartment was new and decently maintained. Free water and coffee capsules every day along with some nuts and dates. Breakfast was ok. A lot of cats in the area - it's an advantage for us :) The location is perfect for sightseeing - in the middle of Sharjah. You can have a great dinner nearby in the Arabian Tea House - a bit expensive but definitely worth it. There is a shuttle bus to the beach twice per day at 10 and at 12.
There is quite a few mosques around, so you will get up at 5am every day :) for me this was not a problem at all. Parking is outside without any roof.

The staff, especially the guy at the pool, is great.
The bed and linen are simply great.
Been going to this place since years now. The quality of the breakfast has gone down a bit (eg Arab breakfast, the hummus and some of the used products are clearly cheap supermarket items. Why? You have the Arabian Tea House next to you, crack a deal with them. You can afford it as you've increased the price of the rooms substantially) as well as the quality of the products (Good time when they used to pamper you with Acqua di Parma toiletries)...
Unfortunately unlike years ago the traffic from Dubai to Sharjah has massively increased making it more than 1h drive... Hence my comments before about the quality of the experience. We visit this place on a yearly bases because it used to offer a certain experience. Is it now worth the ride?

There was an issue with the sunbeds however, the management dealt with the issue swiftly and were very proactive

The various houses that constitute one hotel. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff were very friendly
The property looked a bit “tired” on the outside. The shower was stop and go. I’d be full of soap and tge water would stop! Cars are parked in the glaring sun- no covered parking.

Easy to find, valet staff were super friendly, check in was smooth and easy. Staff overall were so friendly and took care of their guests.
Loved the decor and extremely clean.
Would definitely be back.
Nothing bad to report. Overall happy with the stunning hotel.

We were given a room upgrade on arrival so had more space.
Restaurant was impersonal in both restaurants we ate in, and the service seemed to be as quick as possible.

The hotel is beautiful but is a little tired in parts and needs some love, and care.
This is not a space or children. There is one small pool, and this hotel really should be a place for SPA, Wellness and relaxation, peace and calm its not big enough for family's with small children this really was a no no and I wouldn't visit again for this reason. There are so many child friendly hotels in the area. The design and the layout of this hotel should be a SPA relaxation facility. Pool full of screaming kids, my room was above the pool, and breakfast wasn't fun either. It was very disappointing.

It was a truly charming place. The heritage buildings were stunning, and I really appreciated how the old structure was thoughtfully converted into a hotel with a wonderful Emirati traditional touch. The staff were outstanding.
The height of the bed was quite elevated, making it unsuitable for elderly guests who may have difficulty lying down or getting up. The room was completely enclosed with no internal or external view

We had a wonderful stay at The Chedi Al Bait – truly nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect.
The pool area only has 12 loungers, but as the occupancy was very low during our stay, we had it almost entirely to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
The room was very spacious with a lovely private patio – a real highlight. I also highly recommend the à la carte breakfast, which was excellent in both quality and service.
The location is ideal for walking around and exploring the area. I also recommend a visit to the Sharjah Aquarium, which is nearby.
There’s also a beautiful spa on-site, which looks amazing – although we didn’t get the chance to try it this time.
We stayed for just one night. Check-in was at 2 PM, but our room was ready by 1 PM, which was a nice touch. Late check-out was offered until 12:30 PM, which we appreciated.
Highly recommend for a relaxing and beautifully curated stay.
As for minor downsides, we weren’t able to connect our phones to the TV, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the Asian restaurant’s outdoor setting is stunning, but due to the heat we had to sit indoors, where the atmosphere felt less warm. That said, the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Just a note – as the hotel is located in Sharjah, no alcohol is served, which is good to know in advance.

Absolutely everything. The aesthetics, the food and the staff and service they provided.
Maybe location as there were not much views, but honestly not even a big deal. The place is definitely worth staying at for the amazing experience.

The property had very beautiful architecture and comfortable rooms.
Travelling to main attractions takes time (traffic in Sharjah is hectic) but the hotel more than makes up for that.

Absolutely charming property in every single detail. Very special experience, being inside the hotel court you feel like coming back and time, feeling authentic Arabian atmosphere. The breakfast a la carte is very nice. The personnel is just brilliant, people are going out of their way to meet any of your requirements. I was granted with a free transfer twice (I appreciate very much, thank you!). I would also like to thank specifically Mr. Sam, a person in charge of hotel pool, for his exceptional sense of humour and politeness.
It is absolutely not a hotel fault, but the guests should have more clear understanding what is meant by “public Heera beach”. The hotel is arranging free transportation to and from the beach. It is literally lifeless and empty one kilometre of sand without any single sunbed or umbrella. You have no chance to hide from sun anywhere. No changing rooms, no toilets, just sand and sea. When I visited the beach at 11 am on the second day of my stay, I was the ONLY living being there! But I must say, that due to the absence of any activity around the beach, the water is crystal clear, and it was a new experience for me to have a huge beach in my own disposal. Maybe unusual, romantic but still hazardous experience if the weather is too hot.

The room, and spa facilities were lovely, staff were very helpful and polite,
The library and museum is a great addition!
Because of the beautiful water features there were a lot of mosquitos by our room, it would be great if staff could maybe burn some incense in the areas affected.
