Secluded Charming Shelter Island Cottage

Lovely private cottage on half an acre and near the water in the quiet paradise of Shelter Island. Private location down a dirt road, master bedroom is downstairs, in addition there are two quirky charming sleeping lofts/bedrooms in converted attic complete with skylights, accessed by hand hewn spiral staircase.

Filled with artwork and love. Complete with cotton sheets and duvets, towels and toiletries, beach chairs and beach towels, toys and umbrella, cereal and coffee. Fully outfitted kitchen with blender, microwave, toaster oven, dishes and pots and pans. Gas Grill on deck. Pantry complete with coffee, spices, etc...

D/W, W/D, and deck with table and chairs and hammock.
My children were here as babies and toddlers, however given the spiral staircase it is not suitable for small children. Babies not walking yet are a good fit.

There is also a kayak available as well as 5 clunker but great working bicycles perfect for riding around the island.

Shelter Island is quiet, with deer, bunnies, and wild turkeys always around. I only rent to small families or couples, sometimes to small but quiet and respectful groups. There can not be any music on the deck in the evening.
