Elegant house in the heart of Taormina

Situated in the heart of Taormina, “La Pomelia” is a classy apartment a stone's throw away from Corso Umberto, the most renowned street in town, and just a few steps away from its most important historic and archaeological sites. Staying at “La Pomelia” will feel like being at home. It is ideal for those who dream of a holiday where you can breathe ancient Sicily's atmosphere and, at the same time, have fun while shopping around the wonders offered by the fine shops in Taormina.
Its position is perfect for those willing, while taking a walk along the high street, “the Corso”, to lose themselves into this town's atmosphere and spend time shopping in the town centre amongst its alleys, monuments and ancient churches which have witnessed its long history.
The flat includes three bedrooms, finely and thoroughly furnished as well as a large dining room with a terrace typical of those found in Taormina. There are also two bathrooms and a kitchen painted in shades of blue with access to a balcony full of flowers.
The house is about ten minutes away from the refined public garden, which was created by Miss Florence Trevelyan about 100 years ago. From the flat it takes about 10 minutes by car or public transport to reach the most beautiful beaches of the bay of Taormina such as the renowned Isola Bella.
To enter the house, guests need to go up a staircase, which makes it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
