This is a very good large and well equipped apartment in a multi-story block. Private sun deck with sea views and heaps of space. Private, paid pre booked parking on the upper level is the ONLY way into the property. Pool access. and all rooms via lift from the top level parking deck. Very good place.

The instructions we were given to access the property were clear but relied on contact with the host 2 hours before arrival. We had no mobile coverage and could not do it. So we finally met the host. For future guests is is very important to contact the host 2 hours in advance. Once we knew the rules access was a breeze and key drop off was easy. Our suggestion to the host would be to let guests know that the 2 hour contact is VERY important. We arrived at the time we said we would.

Fantastic location. Minutes from the main hub. Spacious terrace and pool.

Only negative is bathroom is in master bedroom so if traveling with teens not ideal but grand. Perfect apartment for 2 or travelling with smaller kids.

Location was great and just a few minutes from the Main Street for restaurants and shops. The apartment had its own parking which is rare for Taormina. Dario was very helpful and kind.

The apartment itself was very clean, good size and reasonably comfortable with plenty of storage space and good sized balcony with sea views (we’ll come to that later). It was conveniently located a short 5 min walk away from the Main Street where all the shops cafes restaurants and bars are. It also offered parking (this was an extra charge). Pretty well equipped with everything you’d need for a weeks stay. Coffee machine and coffee provided.

The entrance to the block of apartments, communal areas and lifts were really uninviting. They were badly lit and poorly maintained. Just looked and felt old and grubby. We had to go down one lift 5 flights, walk along to the next lift and go down another 3 flights. Not ideal for lugging baggage. The view from the apartment would be beautiful if it wasn’t for the fact that it faced onto a huge ugly car park with a circular ramp. It’s just not what you’d want to look into when sitting on your balcony. If you look beyond that you can see the sea. The pool area was closed when we were there but we wouldn’t have used it anyway. Again it looked into the public car park so the setting wasn’t nice. Area also looked dirty and not well maintained. Only one key provided which caused problems for our family of 4 if we were doing separate things. The key has to stay in the apartment for the electricity to work so if someone else is going out, they need to rely on the person in apt coming up 8 flights of stairs opening the gates to the car park.
