Taormina is a great place to visit, and Calipso offers the perfect opportunity to walk into it in the evening and get in the car and explore the rest of sicily during the day. The apartment has a great view of the sea, and is in the perfect location, a short walk from the middle of town with all the restaurants, bars and cafes, and it has parking which is like rocking horse .... In Taormina unless you splash out on one of the 5 star hotels. I would recommend getting a little car like the locals. There's a reason so many Italians drive Fiat 500's, Pandas and smart cars.

Het uitzicht over de zee is schitterend, de flat en het terras heel erg ruim en de locatie t.o.v. de stad en de winkels is heel erg goed. Ook het parkeren op een eigen afgesloten terrein was prima geregeld. De host is vriendelijk en reageert snel.
De wasmachine deed het niet. We konden de oorzaak niet achterhalen.
Een kapstok in de gang zou fijn zijn.
