Gaetano's apartment is a lovely place to stay in a lovely town. It is clean, well-equipped, spacious and has very effective air conditioning. It is in a very tranquil setting, with beautifully kept gardens and majestic views over the town and hills behind. Gaetano's hospitality and communication were excellent. We would thoroughly recommend it and would love to stay there again.

about a km outside of downtown so great to have to walk and easy walk. host is delightful, multilingual and multitalented . very private and comfortable. only caveat there are lots of steps up to property so not for the infirm. but we are in our 70s and it was not an issue for us. would definitely stay again .

The Host Gaetano is very friendly and open and helpful, and you can't ask for more. The apartment is as described and well equipped. The one thing I would say is missing is a toaster! Not so popular in Italy maybe, but it would have been useful. Otherwise, it has everything you need. The Parking is really a plus for this apartment. Not only do they have private parking, but it is secure and covered, so the car stays cool! So many other holiday apartments in Italy either have nothing, or only offer parking on the street (often at additional cost). So this really is very good. That the train station is also fairly close is also a positive. The best way to get to the Cinque Terre and Porto Fino, and other places is by train, and we used this a lot. One can walk to the supermarket, town centre, beach, and train station. My only complaint would be that the 2nd bedroom got very hot, which for our young daughter was not so good. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms and the air-con from the main area does not get into them, so it is difficult to cool it down.

My husband and I stayed here for five days with our 14 month old. The flat was beautifully decorated with built in shelvings, art and custom paint trim that gave it a really fun, Italian beach vacation vibe. Here are some highlights and notes: - Sparkling clean flat. I have never stayed in a cleaner place and it put us immediately at ease. - Terrace has beautiful views of the hills and town and is a nice way to unwind with a glass of wine after a hot day. It is not babyproofed, with open rails and staircase so we did not let the baby run around on it. The apartment itself was very toddler friendly. - The bedroom has a small couch and queen bed. The living room has a couch with pull out bed. There are extra linens and towels and even 4 bath robes. - The kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals every day. - The bathtub was spacious and comfortable. - There are skylights throughout the flat and every window is equipped with versatile German windows. There is also an A/C unit. - There were useful extras like citronella candles, beach towels and a beach umbrella. - The walk was long, perhaps 20-25 minutes to the Bay of Silence but we didn't mind it. It was a flat walk with lots to see and two grocery stores along the way that we stopped at daily (a bio/organic store and the bigger Coop). - There are several flights of stairs to get from the gate to the flat. This was a surprise but not a game changer. - The flat is in the attic space so it has pitched ceilings. My tall husband did bang his head several times but he still loved the flat and said he'd stay there again. - Gaetano lives below. Gaetano was a kind and gracious host, accommodating our every request promptly and picking us up and driving us to the train station which was a boon with all of our luggage. You can tell he has tried to think of everything to make the flat as comfortable and delightful as possible. Overall, we were very happy with the accommodation and would highly recommend it to anyone.

A clean and cute apartment on the fringes of Sestri. A 15 min walk into the centre of town. The area felt safe and peaceful. Our host was very accommodating, offering to collect us from station, take us on an excursion. Everything was explained about the apartment. There was a hidden charge of 20 euros on the last day for aircon. That was the only disappointment as we thought it was included in the price. Other than that we had a lovely holiday.

We have stayed in many apartments in France, Spain and Italy and this was our favourite. The apartment was bigger than we expected. The bedroom is large and there is a full size bath. The kitchen is OK and the sitting room is excellent with a three sitter settee and two comfortable chairs. There was lots of storage and all the rooms have plenty of light. Right outside the door is a terrace with enough room to eat and relax. From there there is a nice view over the town and a lovely view over the hills. As an extra bonus you have the use of a small area of garden with welcome dappled shade. It is a level 15 minute walk into town and the sandy beach at the Baia Silenzo, Despite being so close to everything the apartment is really quiet which for Italy must be almost unique. The only thing noisier than the crickets was the church bells. Gaeanto is a charming and interesting host. Take the opportunity to have a chat. So lots of positives, we haven't any negatives.

We've just returned from a wonderful week staying at Gaetano's charming apartment in Sestri Levante. It's conveniently placed for the beach, station and town, yet extremely peaceful with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills from the terrace. The apartment was clean and well-stocked and Gaetano was extremely helpful, collecting us from the station and providing us with a very welcome bottle of wine on arrival! Sestri Levante is an absolute gem (this was our second visit), fantastic beaches and lush surroundings, and easy to reach by train. Looking forward to returning soon.

"We spent lovely holidays in this very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated flat. The house is located in a very green and quiet neighbourhood, but still close to the train station, town centre and beach. Terrace and garden allowed us to enjoy the nice weather outdoors. Gaetano and Elisabetta were very helpful and flexible with the arrangements. Maps and timetables of trains and buses as well as brochures of the region are provided and helped to organise our holidays in this lovely part of Italy. Having beein in Sestri before, we didn''t regret our choice of accommodation and won''t hesitate to come back again."

For people who have difficulty in walking there now is an elevator. The appartment was nice, well equipped and clean. Accueil très chaleureux. Notre hôte n’est pas avare d’informations sur la région et donne de bons tuyaux. La maison est située dans un domaine verdoyant entourée d’oliviers. Elle est au calme et pourtant à 15 mn à pied de la gare, du centre ville et des plages. Les liaisons train sont très faciles avec les différents endroits touristiques. Possibilité de mettre la voiture sous abri dans la propriété sécurisée par un portail. L’appartement est propre, spacieux et offre une terrasse. La cuisine est bien équipée. Die Ferienwohnung ist Teil eines wunderschönen Hauses und liegt ruhig und dennoch zentral am Hang eines Olivenhains. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich, die Ausstattung lässt an nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wunderbar ist die Terrasse, sonnenverwöhnt und mit Blick ins Grüne. Der unglaublich freundliche Gastgeber wohnt in direkter Nachbarschaft und stand uns bei Fragen und Tipps jederzeit zur Seite, hat aber sonst unsere Privatsphäre respektiert. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, so dass wir unser Auto während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht aus der Garage bewegen mussten. Ob Cinque Terre, Genua oder Küstenstädtchen, alles ist per Zug einfach zu erreichen. Ins Städtchen und zum Strand sind es ebenfalls nur wenige Laufminuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und danken herzlich für die tolle Zeit!

L'appartement avec terrasse se situe dans une superbe villa au milieu d'un magnifique jardin fleuri entouré d'oliviers , proche de la mer du centre ville de la gare . Die Villa von Gaetano ist wunderschön, umrahmt von einem zauberhaften Garten mit den schönsten Oleanderbüschen, Feigenbäumen, wildem Rosarin und Tymian und vielem mehr. Das Appartment ist hübsch eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet. Die kleine Terrasse mit Blick in den wunderbaren Garten und die Natur ist sehr einladend. Der Gastgeber ist sehr symphatisch, humorvoll und äusserst hilfsbereit. Wir sind einigen seiner Ausflugstipps gefolgt und waren begeistert. Die Villa liegt am Rande von Sestri Levante und ist damit ruhig und in der Natur, in das Städchen und zum Strand sind es nur 10-15 Gehminuten. Optimale Lage. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub und empfehlen diese Wohung gerne weiter.

L'appartement est très bien équipé et propre, idéalement situé au calme et proche de la gare (environ 10 minutes de marche). La terrasse est très agréable pour profiter de l'extérieur en toute tranquillité. Gaetano, le propriétaire, est très sympathique. Discret mais toujours disponible pour renseigner les vacanciers, il parle très bien le français. C'est le propriétaire idéal ; des petits cadeaux nous attendaient à l'arrivée, il nous a emmené découvrir des lieux que l'on n'aurait pas découvert seuls et il nous a convié à un diner typiquement ligurieux délicieux. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et nous reviendrons.

Nachdem wir ja schon letztes Jahr unseren Urlaub bei Gaetano in vollen Zügen genossen haben, sind wir aus all den bereits angeführten Gründen wieder gekommen. Und es hat sich nichts geändert! Der große Vorteil: Man kennt sich schon aus, ist quasi zu Hause und kann alles noch entspannter genießen. Zu erleben, zu entdecken und zu genießen gibt es in der Region so reichlich, dass man jedes Jahr kommen könnte! Gaetano und der Golfo Tigullio an der Riviera di Levante sind die perfekten Gastgeber! Je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles par principe mais en elle en vaut 5! (À cause de mon éducation: on peut toujours faire mieux!) En effet, le propriétaire s'efforce d'améliorer sans arrêt. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons reconnu la maison grâce aux nombreuses photos sur le site qui reflètent bien la réalité. Un gîte très agréable, propre, très bien entretenu, rien ne manque à l'intérieur, et où l'on se sent comme chez soi. Le grand avantage: on peux se rendre à pied à la gare et decouvrir de La Spezia à Gènes en passant par les 5 terre sans avoir le soucis de garer une voiture. Je ne veux surtout pas oublier l'accueil du propriétaire: Gaetano qui sait donner de bons conseils pour visiter la région, Toujours présent pour rendre service et très discret à la fois. Je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles pour le principe mais il en vaut 5+!! Dès notre arrivée, nous reconnaissons les lieux grâce aux nombreuses photos sur le site, accueil très chaleureux de Gaetano, appartement très propre où rien ne manque à l'intérieur pour passer un excellent séjour. Ce gîte est très bien situé car on peut laisser la voiture et tout faire en marchant et aller à la gare à pied et decouvrir les 5 terre et le reste en se déplaçant en train. Le point le plus important reste l'accueil de Gaetano qui est très discret et pourtant toujours là pour donner de bons conseils pour le tourisme du lieu. Nous avons passé une super soirée en sa compagnie et nous en garderons un excellent souvenir.

Wonderful and comfortable apartment

My family and I spent one week at Mr Zambons apartment this summer. Allthough the apartment probably is best suited for two adults only it also was no problem at all accommodating also two children. The apartment is very well planned so although not that big there is plenty of space for luggage and clothes. Comfortable bathroom and a small kitchen that has all the equipment one might need to cook a little dinner. A very nice terrace and green surroundings makes this apartment a little oasis of calm but just e few minutes from the city centre and the beaches. The owner lives in the building and is very kind, greeting and helpful and gave us some very good tips on restaurants and day trips that made our stay even better. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much and would be happy to come back.
