Corrieview Barn - lovely cottage in a great location to explore the Highlands!

Corrieview Barn is a lovely cottage just outside of Fort William in a lovely area that allows easy access to the Jabobite train, Fort William, Glencoe, and Glen Nevis. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed. The bed was very comfortable and all the conveniences were modern and worked well. Having a washer/dryer was a nice plus since we’d been traveling for weeks. The owners were friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to all communications - the welcome hamper of goodies was very kind and allowed us to prepare our breakfast without having to visit the store upon arrival.

Little cosy gem!

One of the cosiest self catering places we’ve ever stayed in - so classy in terms of decor and comfort, we were blown away! Nice quiet location within walking distance to the local pub. Lovely comfortable bed. Owner called in to welcome us and was a really nice guy. Loved the extra little touches like th provisions left, the bottle of prosecco and the coffee machine.

No kitchen towel Lounge area could do with a small armchair Absolutely nothing else! Just a little too far to walk into Fort William but only a 5 minutes drive.

Best Air BnB anywhere!

It had everything we could ever need and it was just so beautiful. It was in a stunning setting, with a lovely little garden outside the door. I could live there. ❤️ It is the nicest AirBnB that I’ve ever stayed in, and I doubt that I will ever find another property that I like as much as this one. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and bread and breakfast treats.

It would be churlish to criticise any part of this property, but if I had to make one criticism it would be the tiny ironing board.

A beautifully styled property with excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed, excellent kitchen facilities, internal laundry, lovely private garden for alfresco eating. Our hosts were very generous providing goodies and supplies. Paul was on hand to give advice about local attractions.

Overall loved the place easy to find and nice & bright. Great location with easy access, we did some nice walks also loved the added touches, some fruit, loaf of bread, milk & butter + bottle of bubbles

A true home from home with everything you’d need.

It was a true home from home. Perfect location for our climb of Ben Nevis (7 minute drive to visitor centre cat park!). Very private with a stunning view and there’s nothing we’d change other than to stay longer.

Comfortable and a great base for exploring the area

Very comfortable and well setup for a few days stay. Kitchen had adequate equipment to prepare meals and the property was beautifully clean. We throughly enjoyed our stay. An M&S Food Hall an easy walk away made it even easier.

TV …. (Not that we watch this often) but the screen colour was a deep blue so appeared a problem and couldn’t be replaced during our stay the host was made aware and as I understand it has ordered a new TV 😀 so we bought reading books and jigsaws and visited the cinema and popped to the local pub for 1 or 2 to pass our evening time 😀

The house was beautiful Everything was well thought out,, Clean, comfortable with lots of amenities.. A great place to stay.. They left breakfast food and a bottle of Prosecco , very thoughtful. Ben Nevis was right in front and the view was great. The only drawback is it is about 20 min from downtown.. You can walk it or take a bus...

The hosts have thought of everything A very well equipped bungalow with very high quality soft furnishings etc A perfect size for two and the bed is exceptionally comfortable The location is quiet but yet close to shops ( M&S and Aldi seconds away…) Fort William town is a short car ride We used this as a base to tour the area and it was perfect

A magnificent stay at Fort William.

Quiet, lovely spot. Magnificent view of Ben Nevis from front door. Modern facilities in a converted barn. Close to shop for self catering. A lovely bottle of Prosecco and breakfast pack on arrival. Thanks too to lovely son Cameron who helped us with wifi and our cancelled Jacobite train suggesting alternate trip. 👍

Forgot to read their directions when first did the loop as it’s not well sign posted but after reading 7 th house from lights and first hedge we did.

Wonderful stay all around

Absolutely the nicest accommodation I have ever stayed in, including a number of posh hotels. So cosy and tidy, spotlessly clean, stylish and not the cheapest possible furniture etc., a nice comfy bed and all other amenities of a new house within a lovely old traditional house. Would have quite happily moved in on the spot! Fresh air, no dampness, nothing wrong and a few thoughtful considerations as well: milk in the fridge, some snacks and prosecco waiting for us. These are little things that don't cost much but give a very nice welcome and an appearance of the owners caring about their guests. On top of all this, Ben Nevis right near your doorstep.

Only thing that could use some development was the central heating. Had to communicate a couple of times with the owner, who was very helpful and friendly, to get it adjusted remotely. A little more autonomy is preferred.
