Tania met us and gave us an overview of the place and some of the surrounding area. She had good communication both prior and right up to the handing us the keys. Out of one window you can see the actv Rialto bridge entrance and the other way is maybe 6-7 mins to st marks square. Lots of good eating places nearby. Washer/dryer very helpful.

We knew it ahead of time but no lift and the unit is on the 3rd floor. At the end of a long day those extra steps can be a little painful. :) the layout of the unit was a bit odd but certainly workable.

The apartment was a nice mixture of antique and modern furniture and fittings. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, a very good central location and five minutes from both the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's square.

Some of the electrical fittings were a little alarming, but probably to be expected in an old city centre apartment. There is no lift to the apartment which is on the top floor.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Venice. A short walk to St Marks square as well as plenty of shops and restaurants.

The facilities were average at best. There was a kitchen and a lounge but nothing that you would really want to spend time in. Of course if you are in Venice for a short time you possibly wont care about these. Could have been cleaner as well.

The location is great but don’t expect much from the apartment. Very old & basic apartment (understandable for the location but could use an upgrade on everything). The beds were ok but the floor is slanted in one of the bedrooms which wasn’t pleasant. Lots of stairs if you’re carrying large bags as the apartment is on the top floor. There is washing machine & dryer which is handy. The aircon is ok as well. Kettle was rusted inside (owner replaced promptly) but this should be checked thoroughly as a rental. No tea towels etc..

The bathroom had issues with shower head which is loose from wall but also very old & worn. The bathroom is not to standards sorry. The Lounge room is horrible. Old lounge with another dining table blocking tv view. To me this felt like more of a backpackers hostel. The floors are all sloped throughout. With all the comments I’ve read regarding the issues with plumbing, bathroom facilities & being outdated. Nothing has been done to rectify. Will not be staying or recommending this place.
