On the main level, you will find the newly remodeled kitchen. Featuring a large center island, a copper farm sink, granite counters, and stainless-steel appliances, it will beckon the chef in your group to create delicious dishes that can be shared around the dining table. You can enjoy meals together with scenic lake views in the background. Linger long after the dishes are cleared to share stories about your day at Deep Creek.
The main level also offers two bedrooms. One queen bedroom and the other bedroom with a full bed. They are decorated with your comfort in mind. You will rest easy after hitting the ski slopes or paddle boarding on the lake. There is a full bath on this level as well. Adding to your options for sleeping spaces, there is a den with a TV and sleeper sofa.
Upstairs the spacious great room will be a popular gathering place. Hardwood floors, lots of natural light and an attractive stone fireplace combine to make this a warm and inviting spot to kick-back and relax. Large windows reveal views of the lake through the trees. The pool table will provide hours of entertainment too.
Guaranteeing a good night's sleep, the upper-level primary suite is furnished with a king bed and has a private bathroom with a shower. There is another bedroom on this floor with a full bed and a bunk bed with a private bathroom. This is a great place for the kids, and they will love having their own space!
Outside, you can enjoy the outdoors from the updated deck or the flagstone terrace. The gently sloping yard is dotted with trees that provide ample shade on sunny summer days. You will love having a private dock where you can keep your boat, swim and fish. Sunset views are a bonus. After you spend the day cruising the lake, come back to enjoy the sunset and s'mores at your fire pit. The outdoor hot tub is a great place to wind down any time of year. You can stargaze as the bubbling water soothes tired muscles and melts away stress.

We booked this cabin for a weekend getaway with friends and it could not have been more perfect! The location and size of the cabin was incredible. Would definitely come back!

This place is in a great location. Plus the property has a dock, multiple fire pits, a hot tub and a zip line. So much to do just staying in.

I booked Lakeside Vista for a mid-October weekend with two male friends and one adult son. This was our second fall at Deep Creek Lake and first stay at this rental. The property was ideally located for fishing and very close to everything. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and pool table! The description and photographs were accurate and did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked for a guys’ weekend. My only advice to future renters would be to approach Old Chestnut Drive slowly, as it is a somewhat hidden drive in a wooded area.
The folks at Taylor-Made were a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. I would highly recommend this property and the team at Taylor-Made for your next Deep Creek vacation!

Upon arrival the key was not in the lockbox and it took 45 minutes for the company to answer the phone and another 45 minutes until someone came with a spare key. Once entering the house one of the bedrooms was unusable due to a leak in the ceiling that looked like someone was previously working on it but then left it. I called the company to tell them but all I got was a “We will call you back” - they never did but they did put in a maintenance ticket, that took 3 days for someone to come out and look at this leaking ceiling in a bedroom. They said it was fixed but wasn’t so we just moved on from it since obviously the company did not care. Luckily all of our guests were flexible with rooms and sharing. The upstairs porch also has a railing spot that was extremely dangerous and looked like one wrong lean on it and someone is falling. The hot tub was not serviced like it said before we came, the water was gross looking and there was no chemicals in it. House doesn’t have AC, Vrbo does not say that but I will say it was only stuffy upstairs once or twice in the week we stayed. The lake and dock was perfect. The kitchen could use more pots and pans but worked perfect for us. Phenomenal views. All over, it was a great spot and was perfect for our family. The company though is pretty unresponsive.
