Bright and quiet apartment on the third and top floor without lift of a medieval house near the door of San Pietro, in the historic city. Two bedrooms with exposed beams, terracotta floors, two bathrooms with shower, dining room, kitchen, large living room, spectacular views of Perugia, Assisi and the Apennines. Sat TV, Wifi, washing machine, fridge, vacuum cleaner, microwave, toaster. Located in the trendy Borgo Bello district, full of shops, boutiques, services, restaurants and pizzerias, the apartment is ideal for 4 people but can comfortably accommodate 6.

Luisa and Ruben couldn't have been a more helpful hosts. Luisa and I were in contact for months before my trip, quickly answering any questions or concerns. We met Ruben and Luisa at the check in, they introduced us to the apartment and offering recommendations for shopping, sightseeing, and dining. The apartment was perfect with fully equipped bath and kitchen. The views of the Umbria region were breathtaking from their living room balcony with the landscraping changing everyday. Perugia is ideal homebase for visiting the incredible hilltowns, the city center is a short walk from the apartment with many restaurants and bars. Comfortabling to know that they were close by if we had any issues with the apartment, we did not! Ruben and Luisa recommened the most wonderful driver. Filippo from Perugia Taxi drove us for three days to different hill towns in the region and to the airport on our day of departure. When our flight was delayed, he offered to come back to the airport to collect us if our flight was cancelled. Filippo was incredible punctual, kind and patient. I highly recommend Luisa and Rubens apartment and Filippo of Perguia Taxi for a flawless trip. Thank you!

An absolutely beautiful apartment with stunning views over the Tevere Valley towards Assisi. All rooms are comfortable and clean but you will spend most of your waking time in the main living room where there are windows on three sides. The balcony is large enough for a meal for two, and the kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to cook it. The hosts are fantastic, knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.

Luisa and Rubens were fantastic hosts, meeting us at the train on arrival and checking us in to their apartment. Communication was fantastic, they went out of their way to be helpful at all times, it was like staying with friends. The apartment is in a great location in the historic centre, accessible to public transport and walkable within the old city. There are supermarkets, cafes and lovely restaurants very close by. Perugia is a very lovely city. We stayed for eight weeks and loved it.

This apartment was everything we expected and more: pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped, with stunning views. The owners, Luisa and Rubens, went far beyond what we expected of owners, picking us up at the train station and returning us there at the end of our stay and even driving us to the Perugina factory for a tour. They both speak English, and they were lovely people.

A well-located apartment in the center of town with an easy walk to the historic areas. A well-equipped kitchen if you want to save some money by cooking your own breakfast or supper. A good supermarket nearby. Easily sleeps 4 and can manage 6 with a pull out bed. A fantastic view of the valley that leads to nearby Assisi. Near a key bus stop if y0u want to make some day trips to nearby towns like Orvieto. Rubens and his wife (the owners) live next door are available by phone for any questions that might arise and they provide a detailed guide in Italian and English with all you need to know about the apartment and the neighborhood.

The apartment is a short walk from the old centre of the city. It is in a quiet residential area. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with wonderful views. It is one of the most attractive apartments I have stayed in. It is on the top floor up numerous steps and there is no lift, but we are both 60+ and had no difficulty at all. The bathrooms are well equipped although one has an odd elevated shower - but I used this without difficulty. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and with double glazing there was no noise and we slept well every night. There is a bar below the apartment, but this is not noisy and did not disturb us - they also do nice food and drink. There are a couple of places to eat nearby and a supermarket at the end of the road(this is easy to miss so do ask for directions). This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment and when I return to Perugia I will stay there again!

The photos don’t do this place justice; it’s a spacious flat in a modernized, exquisite medieval building with amazing views (of old town or the green valley below) out every window. Within the Centro Storico, walking distance to the historic sites, with cafes and restaurants around, but in a peaceful neighborhood, away from the tourist hordes. The hosts, Lucia, Rubens and their son Fabrizio are extremely kind and helpful; they picked us up at the train station and insisted on driving us to the station when we left. We plan to return!

The appartment is perfectually situated naar the ancient center of Perugia. The loft is on the third level with views on the hills and churches. All facilities are present and Ruben and Luisa are very helpfull.

My husband, daughter and I were traveling through Italy in early July and wanted to get away from the bigger tourist destinations. Luckily, we decided on Perugia, and luckier still, we found this lovely apartment for our three-night stay. It was very spacious, with two bedrooms separated from the living space. It was clean and bright. Two bathrooms with decent water pressure. A well-appointed kitchen that had everything (including fruit, tea, and biscuits). A good cafe and restaurant right below the apartment, and a rich cultural history at our doorstep. But the highlight was the large living room and the incredible view of rolling Umbrian hills, with the historic town of Assisi in the distance. We got to see a sunrise, a storm and perfectly lit evenings from its many windows and balcony. Actually, the other highlight was our smart, kind and generous hosts who went above and beyond our expectations to make us comfortable. I only wish all apartment rentals were so perfect!

We had a fabulous stay here at the end of June 2018. Rubens and Luisa rent this apartment and they live in the same building should you need anything. They are a really nice and interesting couple who speak English. The apartment is a lovely two bedroom/two bath, with plenty of living space, a good kitchen, and most importantly, an extraordinary view off the balcony. We stayed for five days and wished we didn't have to leave. Once you find the apartment, and Rubens was very helpful with that, you'll realize it's in a lovely section of the city and you can walk everywhere. We also found parking not far away that didn't require payment. Perugia is a lovely small Umbrian city with plenty to keep you interested. I would happily return.

The apartment is centrally located just off Corso Cavour which leads directly into the heart of Perugia. Luisa and Rubens were the perfect hosts and very accommodating of us and our bicycles. They provided us with lots of information to help with our stay. The apartment is large and has everything you need to be comfortable and yet enjoy a night in cooking a meal or having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the distant hills and glimpses of parts of the old town of Perugia.

A smart clean apartment, full of interest and style – the photos do not do it justice. The view from the sitting room is one of the best we have seen – and we have visited Italy a lot. It is very comfortable and a very relaxing place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped and, like the rest of the apartment, delightfully quirky. There are two comfortable, good sized bedrooms. There is a bar below the apartment, but this usually closes by 23.00 and so was not a problem for two 60+ year olds who like early nights. There are several restaurants nearby. This is a great place to stay, and the hosts are very helpful and informative .

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. Our hosts were wonderful and gave us lots of helpful advise on what do do in Perugia. We especially appreciated their advise on where to dine. As it turned out the best places to eat where all in the neighbourhood. It was away from the touristy areas and it seemed like most of our fellow diners were locals. The food was excellent quality and cheaper than in the city centre. The cafe on the ground floor does great coffee. The apartment is really huge.It has two nice bedrooms on the road side(but still quiet) The lounge is amazing. It is a long room with many windows. At the end is a double glass door that leads to a balcony which must have had the best view in Italy. We spent many evenings there having a pre dining drink, admiring the view. Can't fault this place. It is on the third floor without an elevator which might constrain some guests.

Through our travels, we think we know a thing or two about vacation rentals. However, this one truly stands out. First, the hosts - Rubens and Luisa have been extremely welcoming and attentive. They sent us plenty of useful information beforehand, and when we arrived, they greeted us at the apartment, helped us with the parking and even took us to the nearby store to stock up on essentials. Second, the apartment - the pictures on the web site are good, but somehow do not do it justice, especially the big living room and balcony with views in three directions on the city and the valley below stretching out to Assisi. The kitchen is very well equipped, so cooking and serving a fine meal is almost a requirement :) The location is great - you can easily walk to everything in the historic center. Thank you Luisa and Rubens for a wonderful stay.

It is centrally located with easy access to the sights of Perugia, It is clean, very well equipped and spacious. Rubens ( Luisa's husband) picked us up from the station when we arrived. Wir hatten wunderbare 10 Tage in Perugia. Die Wohnung liegt ideal um mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Umbrien zu erkunden - der Busbahnhof ist zu Fuß und der Bahnhof mit der Minimetro sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben einige Tagesausflüge gemacht und uns jeden Abend wieder über die schöne Wohnung und die wirklich traumhafte Aussicht gefreut. Auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen... 5 Sterne!

Von dem Appartment aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. We are extremely happy that we chose this particular apartment and these extremely sympathetic hosts for our 10 days stay in Perugia. The apartment is spacious, very inviting, clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony really must be the most amazing throughout Perugia - we would not have thought it possible to experience such amazing views over the city profile as well as the the vast landscape - including the mountains, Assissi, etc - from an apartment in a city of Perugia's size. The apartment is located just inside one of the city gates - in a quiet corner of this at the same time historical and present town. But the best of all was our hosts - Luisa and Rubens. They both were very warm and incredibly helpful and informative in every way. Even before departure, we received lots of relevant information, and upon arrival in Perugia we were guided very detailed and helpfully all the way through the one way streets to the parking lot. Rubens even helped us bringing our heavy luggage up to our apartment on the top floor - with his own special lifting system - amazing! We really felt very welcome (what a wonderful way to start your stay after a long journey) and this feeling even grew during our stay. If we ever come to Perugia another time (we hope so), we will definitely choose this amazing apartment - and these fantastic hosts - again.

Großes Appartement, großzügig ausgestattet, wunderbar freundliches und hilfsbereites Vermieter-Ehepaar! Wir bekamen sehr viel Hilfe bei der Anreise und ich bitte zukünftige Gäste, WIRKLICH den Anfahrts-Anweisungen von Rubens und Luisa zu folgen, da es mit den verwinkelten und vor allem schmalen Straßen (!) und Einbahnen nicht so einfach ist, sich zurechtzufinden. Das Navi täuscht sich (fast) immer :-) Da wir uns neben Perugia viel in der Umgebung angeschaut haben, war der Parkplatz in Gehweite ganz toll. In der Umgebung gibt es alle Annehmlichkeiten, vom Restaurant bis zum Lebensmittelmarkt bis zu Delikatessenlädern, etc.... alles was das Herz begehrt. Alles in Allem wunderber!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en Ombrie, la région est très belle, autant les paysages que les attractions culturelles. Perugia est une bonne base pour visiter le Nord de la région et quelques incursions dans le Sud. L’appartement se situe dans un quartier très vivant avec de nombreux restaurants et commerces. Le logement est très bien équipé, spacieux et meublé avec goût hors de ce que l’on peut trouver aujourd’hui le plus fréquemment dans des logements de vacances. La vue depuis le balcon est à couper le souffle, on ne s’en lasse pas tant c’est beau. Mention spéciale à Rubens et Luisa qu’il sont des hôtes délicieux, discrets et très attentionnés. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter.
