Charming Montauk beach house off East Lake Drive.
2 week minimum stay required during summer. The property will only be offered for a limited number of weeks. Rentals will be to family groups only (Town of East Hampton Code 255-11-62 prohibits rentals to groups of unrelated adults)
The house is set back from the street, with a southwest exposure to enjoy sunset and water views.
Our neighborhood is bordered by county and state park woods and beaches. Hiking trails and undeveloped beaches run all the way to Montauk Point.
Directions are easy! Drive all the way to the end of Long Island, past the town of Montauk, and take the very last left where the sign says “Outer Beach”
Original owner designed and built this house in 2002. Continuous upgrades. Post Modern traditional with cedar shingles, wide plank wood floors, high ceilings, and full length windows for maximum light.
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and very comfortably sleeps 8. The Kitchen / Living room with cathedral ceilings opens thru French doors to front deck with water and sunset views.
There is a full covered porch with separate seating below.
There is an additional grilling deck (extra large grill) thru French doors off kitchen - all designed for entertaining an extended family.
An additional Sub Zero fridge was built into the island for beverages.
Granite kitchen countertops, marble tops in baths.
Large outdoor shower.
The house is an ‘upside down’ layout as the second floor has the best views. Kitchen/Living Area and half bath are on the second floor. Bedrooms and two full baths are on the first floor.

Large Master Bedroom: king bed, walk-in closet, updated master bath with jacuzzi tub, TV
Large Guest Bedroom: 2 queen beds, large closet. TV
Large guest bath across hall with heavy duty washer and dryer
Bedroom 1: full with additional pullout, TV
Bedroom 2: 2 twins with additional pullout, TV
A 3 minute drive to either ocean or bay beaches, and a few minutes to the Ranch and Montauk Point Lighthouse. This property comes with private access to Lake Montauk / Montauk Harbor (with kayaks!)
Surfing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, biking, swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, wildlife/migratory bird watching/photography are just a few of the featured activities.
Price includes premium cable and WiFi, utilities, professional landscaping, all linens
Comes with use of kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles
On-site viewings can be arranged for 14+ day serious inquiry.

We have been renting in Montauk for over 15 years. This property was, by far, our best experience. Absolutely everything was perfect! The house was spacious, incredibly clean, beautifully furnished and in the perfect neighborhood. We enjoyed each and every minute of our stay! Would highly recommend this property!

My wife and I stayed at this lovely home for two weeks with our son and a few friends. The home is charming, bright and airy, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, with a modern fully-stocked kitchen and great bathrooms. We spent a lot of time on the the two large decks (upper and lower) which have comfy furniture. The property is very well maintained, and it's in a lovely neighborhood very close to Lake Montauk. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We hope to return next year (we wish we could return next week!).

This Montauk trip was a combination of birthday celebrations and graduation from fellowships for my daughter and her husband. it was amtrying year for everybody and we were grateful to have a chance to get together.John and Nuala's place is a gem. Perfect location for us, be it beaching, golfing, dining out or eating in. Their house is in close proximity to everything and is fully stocked. They are also on top of everything when we needed information or last minute help.Thanks again for an amazing time in Montauk, John and Nuala.We will definitely be back again.
