WALK TO THE BEACH- never deal with limited or restricted beach parking. Ride your bike or walk to the beach throughout the day. Great private loft home office.
Two blocks from the world-renown Ditch Plains Beach on a quiet street next to a preserve is a stunning modern beach house defined by understated luxury and offering unique privacy for Ditch Plains. The house was designed for an unparalleled beach lifestyle. An open loft-like first floor with high ceilings and a concrete floor features a living room with large L shaped Roche Bobois leather sofa, an Eames Lounge, and a stone ribbon fireplace that frames the recessed television. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with Wolf, Subzero and Miele appliances and a 12 foot carrara marble center island with seating for 6. The dining area, with a designer built reclaimed timber dining table and Eames chairs, seats 8 comfortably. The 16 foot custom slider provides access to a very large outdoor mahogany deck with a teak table for 10+ persons, outdoor lounge furniture, and a gas fired Webber grill. The front mahogany deck, accessed through a 10 foot slider, has Saarinen tables and chairs and is used for breakfast and watching the sunrise. The luxurious outdoor shower allows you to exit/enter the house from the first floor bathroom and it is the most coveted shower. The custom designed cantilevered steel and walnut staircase, fabricated in Italy, connects the 1st floor living/dining/kitchen space to the upper 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, and Master suite with private bath and office. All bedrooms have ample closet storage. Each bathroom has German manufactured Dornbracht faucets with custom designed walnut vanities, Duravit wall hung toilets with bidets, Carrara subway tile, heated pebble, and stone floors and flush mounted ceiling rainhead showers. The house has radiant floor heating and individually controlled a/c for every room and is decorated with vintage period pieces and a collection of vintage glass. Attached to the house is a 15+ surfboard storage station and dry under deck parking for 6 beach cruisers which come with the rental. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and a large beach wagon included.
Weekly cleanings are required for any stay longer than one week.
A security camera is located at the entrance of the house for your safety an security.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations permitted with a the refund determined by the proceeds received from a successful re-renting. The greater time to re-rent results in a greater likelihood of success. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance travel expense protection and for medical emergency coverage. We recommend Allianz.

One of the best rentals we've been to. The space was luxurious and well maintained. The property was beautiful and peaceful. It was a great location where everything was within 5 to 15 minute drive. 5-10 min walk from the Ditch Plains beach and a few trails. The host was so great to work with and very flexible with our party and we had a great experience working with them. Would definitely rent again in the future.

My husband and I rented this house for the week of our son’s wedding in Montauk and we could not have been happier. The house is so well appointed so there is everything that you need. The host was attentive and accommodating. We would definitely recreating this house for anyone who wants to spend some time in Montauk.

Very well stocked house. Especially the kitchen and beach items. Large and wonderful deck space/furniture.

House was in perfect location for our weekend events. Received information on house rules but no information on how to enter until I arrived and had to call to get instructions on where lockbox was.
Oven had multiple greasy dirty roasting pans, oven was very dirty and greasy, as well as bbq. ( Never used) and specific that it was to be cleaned upon checkout or will be charged a fee.
Refrigerator had mold in gaskets of doors.
Washer was full of mold.
Don’t think I should have been charged a cleaning fee because of these issues.
