The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Not only did he leave some icecream, beer and bottles of wine for us, he was happy to offer advice about local travel, things to do, shopping etc. And as he didn't have anyone else coming the day we left he was happy for us to stay a bit later which was great as it meant we didn't have to trog around all day with suitcases before catching our late flight home. The facilities were excellent, plenty of crockery, appliances etc. The AC worked well which was a blessing as our stay took place during a heatwave! The shower in the newly fitted bathroom was particularly good, and much used. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a residential block of flats, and (apart from the cicadas which chirped constantly!) was quiet. There are several nearby bus stops so access to the town centre was easy, the journey taking 10-15 mins. Daily (24 hour) tickets cost just 4 Euros, and the buses were modern and air-conditioned. The bus going to the airport is also only a few hundred meters away so this location was really rather good. There are two large supermarkets and some smaller shops nearby too.

The bedrooms away from the living room (with the AC) were very hot, though to be fair this was an unusually hot period of weather (35C + all week) so it probably wouldn't usually be an issue - and fans were provided to give some cooling.

Our stay was very pleasant. The host gave us very good welcome, explained everything about the flat and croatia in general. Some of the tips about beaches and local nightlife were really helpful and beacause we had five people he gave us the number of taxi that was big enough to fit five passangers. He also left us some snacks, juices and fresh fruits. During our stay he was always available and in case of questions gave us quick answers. Also he spoke really good english so it was easy speak with him and there were no misundestandings. On our day of check-out we had to leave flat early in the morning and he was ready to pick up the keys in the morning and was really precise about the time we agreed. The flat itself was very spacious and cozy. It had everything we needed even some small stuff such as dishwasher capsule, basic food etc. Flat had air conditioning and extra fans to keep the rooms cool. It also had working wifi. The location was also good we had only 30 minute walk to the center. There was grocery and pharmacy with reasonable prizes next to the flat. In case of using the car there were always parking spaces and when we wanted to go outside the city there were big highways nearby so we didn’t had to wait in traffic jams. In general the place was really good and five of us could fit there easily. Definitely would reccomend this flat to others.
