About this bed and breakfast

Prestigious Port of Estaque (painted by Cézanne, Derain, Braque, ...), typical Marseille district, calm and endearing. Tourist areas: pedestrian paths, numerous shops and restaurants.
Access to downtown (less than half an hour) by bus, train or shuttle boat (to the Old Port from May to October).
Large bedroom (possibility of 2 more people, sleeping on sofa bed)
Troubleshooting corner kitchen (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, stove, kettle, toaster)

A very individual property. The large balcony is a huge point. It gets the sun in the morning and is lovely to sit and look out over the bay in the evening. The apartment is decorated with original artwork. There is a lovely bathroom with a good shower and the bed was comfortable. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane and the train station is about 10 mins walk away and is a very quick route into Marseille. However my favourite was the little shuttle boat which links the two harbours wnd is a very scenic trip. As I found in Marseille, everything is up a hill and this flat is up near the top. However it was worth it for the view and I got quite fit in a few days 😊

"We had a very nice holiday. The price for the rental was very good, so we did not have a lot of expectations. It was nice and clean. There was a big sunny terras. The only thing we missed was a little kitchen to prepare our own food. The rest was perfect! Althougt there is running a train behind the house, it did not bother us at all. Estaque is a very nice village. Restaurants are good if you like fish. The people are a little arrogant but it means also they dont bother you with anything. To get from Estaque to Marseille city takes you about 15 minutes bij train or bus. The bus is easy and cheap (about €1,50 single way pp). "
