Beach waterfront 2-bedroom apartment with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic is located on the 4th floor (2 lifts are available) of 4* resort Atlantic Gardens, in the west Funchal, Lido area, on the beach Praia Formosa with direct access to the ocean promenade. Unique location and superb view!
The guests can enjoy the privacy and use amenities like outdoor pool, restaurants nearby. Large private terrace for sunbathing and al fresco dining in sunset. Within 100-200 m from the building are several bars and fish restaurants with reasonable prices and also 2 supermarkets in 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Public buses to Funchal centre nearby. You can use also Bolt app for taxi services which are quite affordable, specially for a group of 3-4 persons.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious appartment right on the seafront. Fantastic views from the balcony, very chilled and relaxing. Great location for walking to Funchal or Camara do Lobos, but you need to be fit to walk up the steps or hill. Taxis and buses readily available and buses on time. Lots to do on this lovely island. Would highly recommend and stay here again, thankyou.

We had 6 weeks here in Jan/Feb 2025. Amazing balcony which afforded us super views every day, sunsets were lovely, two days of storms were just incredible, but the weather was mainly hot. The kitchen was perfect for me, a chef and I was able to use the incredible fresh food Madeira offers to gain 4lbs , if you use kilos you work it out. The furniture is a bit dated but then so are we and we were really comfortable. We have stayed in Madeira, hotels and apartments for twenty plus years. First time we felt seriously miserable to go home.Cleaners were fun and efficient.We loved the no fuss check in key safe.Booking it next year.There is always a bad side. The fire alarm sounded while we were there. My husband is deaf, not totally deaf he wears hearing aids and he did not hear the alarm. It seriously needs updating to one that sounds in every apartment.

A good month’s holiday overall. With a superb beach front location the apartment is spacious with a well equipped kitchen area. However we did have a problem with the initial cleanliness & maid service. Also the second bedroom desperately needs new mattresses & pillows ( I had to wash the pillows!) Also it would be good to update the description on the website as there isn’t a gym ( I was expecting to be able to use an exercise bike!) or a pool table as mentioned currently.
