Once in a lifetime experience

Amazing place.. so unique.. you will never find another place like this!! So creative and colorful!! A must to stay.. great pool and outdoor sitting areas.

Great unique house with a lot of atmosphere

Upon arrival the owner was there and gave us a tour of the house and explained its history. The house has a lot of atmosphere, is quirky and we kept discovering new things all the time. It's a very unique place. We had a great time and enjoyed having the fire on. The outside is very nice too and has a fire place as well. The location is excellent just a short walk into Thun.

Perfect place for a stay in the area

Very memorable house, that was re-designed by the owner after inheriting it, inspired by Gaudi. Every element of the house has some kind of design, even including the washer and dryer. But it isn't just quirky, it is also a spacious and comfortablde place to stay, with a parking space immediately outside. The pool is excellent and our kids used it repeatedly. It's not a new house, so you shouldn't expect everything to be polished and new, but it is comfortable and everything functioned well, and it is certainly memorable.

Really needs a new router. The internet itself seems to work fine, giving about 20 Mbps. But the router is a tiny, quite old portable one, that only allows a limited number of connections, doesn't reach well downstairs, and is fairly quickly overwhelmed. But that is an issue easily fixed with just a new router, as the internet itself was good.

The house is obviously a labor of love, and it has a warm vibe and is very comfortable. It’s only about 5 minutes outside of the city by bus/car, so it’s easy to get around, but it’s in a quiet, residential area and is a nice escape. We especially liked all of the outdoor spaces, like sitting outside in the evening with a fire going in the chiminea. We’d like to come back when it’s warmer, so we can try out the pool!

Wunderschönes, künstlerisch hochstehendes Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir waren zu 6 und hatten genügend Platz. Die Küche hat alles was es braucht.

Super agréable, correspond parfaitement a la description !

Très jolie maison atypique, spacieuse disposant de frigo, lave vaisselle, bbq, piscine et plein de choses pour rendre le séjour agréable. Bref ça correspondait a 100% a nos attentes, et en plus Jürg est très gentil, disponible et parle très bien français et anglais si on est pas hyper à l'aise avec l'allemand.

Un peu limite en terme de services et de verres mais c'est allé

Spektakuläre Atmosphäre und ein aussergewöhnlich schönes Design. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man entdeckt mit jedem Blick etwas Neues. Der Gastgeber ist sehr umsorgend und herzlich, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist eine Perle.

Merveilleux et magnifique séjour dans cet établissement.

Nous avons tout aimé ! L'établissement est juste incroyable ! Chaque pièce est différente et merveilleuse, belle découverte ! Nous étions 4 adolescents et 2 adultes pour un tournois de curling junior. Les jeunes ont adoré l'originalité de cette maison. Nous la recommandons à 200%. L'hôte est incroyablement gentil et attentionné.

"Ein Kunstwerk zum Wohnen! Schon beim Betreten des Hauses waren wir überwältigt – und dieses Gefühl ließ uns bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts nicht los. Die Bilder im Vorfeld konnten kaum vermitteln, wie beeindruckend dieses Zuhause tatsächlich ist – die Realität übertrifft alle Erwartungen. Das Haus ist ein Ort voller Details und Überraschungen: Jeder Blickwinkel offenbart etwas Neues, ein weiteres kleines Highlight, das man vorher übersehen hat. Es ist, als würde das Haus mit jedem Schritt eine neue Geschichte erzählen. Auch die Sauberkeit hat uns begeistert – wir konnten wirklich kein einziges Staubkorn entdecken. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Unsere Kinder waren genauso begeistert wie wir und reden noch immer von diesem einzigartigen Ort. Es ist definitiv ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese außergewöhnliche Zeit!"

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit in einem grandiosen Haus verbracht. Wenn es sich ergibt kommen eir gerne wieder.

Ganz sicher die Kunst am Haus. Mit viele Liebe wurden ganz viele künstlerische Elemente eingearbeitet. Künstlerisch ist die Unterkunft kaum zu topen. Wir waren zum Ironman. Die Lage ist echt super. 4 Minuten zu Fuss bis zur Aare (Schwimmen) und Busstation. Der Gastgeber war sehr höflich und hat uns mit allen nötigen Infos und Tipps für Thun und Umgebung versorgt.

Alles bestens. Da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Ausgezeichnete Lage (zu Fuss in kurzer Zeit in Thun-Zentrum), ruhig, gemütlich, einzigartiges Haus, diverse Outdoor-Sitzmöglichkeiten, viele Planzen ums Haus…

Sauberkeit könnte besser sein… Im Haus eher dunkel durch die kunstartige Dekoration…
