Cutest studio in Thun 💕

Lovely studio with a very friendly host. Bed is lovely and very comfortable and so is the shower. Unfortunately no kitchen (yet) but the owner told us she is planning to add those when there is more budget available. For two nights, it was fine to just have microwave, mini fridge, tea and coffeemaker & toaster. I think it may add value to add an oven or combi-oven in stead so at least you can make a pizza or so :). Free parking on site is a great plus. The location is om a 10 minute walk from the city center and if you cross the road you can enjoy the magical view of the Thun Castle. Highly appreciated the amenities provided. There were some nice welcoming chocolates and drink and we could do a self-check in. We met the host later and she is the most lovely person. The host also provides noise cancelling earbuds (although for one night) as there is traffic one may find disturbing but it also gets relatively quiet :) The location is amazing. We only had 1 full day and 2 evenings and went for a stroll in Thun both evenings. It’s very beautiful and energetic, filled with people. For kids, there are also multiple great playgrounds nearby! By car we drove around Thunersee and stopped at Oberhofen castle, Beatenburg Grotte, Spiez castle before driving to Bern.

Generally speaking a very positive impression and lovely host. There is always room for improvement, but the host also told us that she is gradually improving her two studios that she is renting out. Within a month (June 2025) from now she is planning to add a kitchen to one of the two apartments for example. Ideas to improve: - Softer, larger towels (but personal preference). - Add a safety net next to the stairs in the hallway (we discussed this) > you could even make it a “chill” area if it is installed in the right way. - (Combi)oven in stead of microwave (or full kitchen of course).

It's a wonderful place to stay.

Jennifer was a very kind host. The bed was very comfortable. It was all very clean. The shower was great. The beautiful walk into town.

The traffic noise, although ear plugs were supplied. No blackout curtains so the street light and bus stop sign was too bright.

Lot of coffee in the pantry. Good and large bathroom. The sparkling wine was good and unexpected welcome drinkj. Enough local guides were kept

Indeed a lovely studio

Excellent. We stayed in the end of April and we were very happy with the apartment. Everything was perfect and the apartment had everything we needed (even more) plus some amazing views from the window. I would definitely recommend it specially if you plan to go with a car.

Lovely town

Location for walking to centre and along the river. Can swim just across the road. Lovely shower room, and bedroom.

Very noisy road which wouldn’t be such an issue when can close shutters and windows when not so hot. Kitchen facilities limited. Terrace area outside had one chair covering a hole in the ground. No table. Would be very noisy.

Excellent stay! The studio has a nice view on the lake and is well decorated by Jennifer who is an artist. She is very kind and thoughtful of every detail. The bed is very comfortable, the room is clean and very well equipped. Lovely surprises at arrival :)

it’s an historical place with tall walls and therefore heat might not be fully optimized. find a balance between thermostat and humidity during winter might take some adjustment.

Central, modern furnished apartment, ideal for a short stay

The apartment is easy to get to. exploring the area,? It is a lovely walk along the water towards the station or the centre. You can see the castle when you look out if the window.

The villa is located at a main road with quite some traffic. For people being sensitive to noise this might not be ideal.

Cozy White Suite under a Big Sykamore Tree

We loved the city of Thun and the surrounding area. We really appreciated the cleanliness and good smell in the suite. The chocolates and wine to greet us were great!! The free local bus pass was a big bonus. We enjoyed meeting the host and seeing her artwork on display in the suite. We were also very thankful she was able to be flexible with our arrival time. The shampoo and body wash in the suite smelled amazing and were eco/natural brands. I loved the shampoo so much I am trying to find it online to buy for our home. My husband was thrilled at how beautiful the local scenery was. Swans and mountains and boats and bridges. We loved it. So many local restaurant options wih great food.

It was awkward washing our dishes in the bathroom sink since it was the only sink available. We felt bad that we got the toaster dirty and were not able to get it clean.... So sorry.

Beautiful location next to the lake, in a perfect spot to go for a swim. A lovely walk to the town centre and a bus stop right outside on the opposite side of the road. It felt like a home from home, with everything you might need, the host thought of it all from ear buds to cling film.

Thanks to the host, the place is very comfortable. Thun is a nice place to be.

Host was pleasant and friendly. I have knee problem and she was very kind to bring up my luggage for me. Place is very clean and love the scent and Art pieces drawn by the Host. She also conduct lessons if have time will try. Received welcome drinks was totally surprise ! Its Champagne and chocolate ! So sweet of her and feel warmth. Sitting by the window and enjoy the view and is a breeze. Opposite the place is a big lake and is enjoyable for evening and morning walk.

All were perfect except I have knee problem and with big luggage. It will be better just a cabin luggage or smaller.

lovely couples get away

The location was amazing & Jennifer was a terrific host. She gave us lots of recommendations & had lots of toiletries available to be used. She was always available via text message & we only saw her once during our stay. Highly recommend booking with Jennifer!

There was no ac, which was probably mentioned in the description but there was a fan. There were also lots of windows that were able to open to bring in a breeze.

Location is excellent. Quirky little place but very comfortable. Host was outstanding. Beautiful walk along the river into town. Very enjoyable

Room is on a busy street but they provided ear plugs, so not really an issue. I would recommend 1 black out curtain for the west window to block the street light.
