Top Location & Very Spacious Studio

Very spacious studio and beautifully decorated. Top location by the lake side promenade (10 min walking into Thun's old town). Parking space available. Very comfy overall. Effective and timely communication. The host, Jennifer, was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great stay in Thun

Amazing, spacious place for our stay for two people. Host Jennifer was very responsive, informative and incredible! From the moment we walked inside everything was impressively neat and prepared, we really loved it from the start. The location is absolutely perfect, just steps away from the bus stop and Lake Thun.

Location, location, location!

The fabulous location & spacious bathroom. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness of providing items such as earplugs & sanitary products. We were able to leave our car at the property after we’d checked out which was great as we had more sightseeing to do in Thun.

The bed linen had an unpleasant odour, as if it hadn’t been aired & dried thoroughly. We noticed it as soon as we walked into the bedroom. Given other favourable reviews of this property, this was both surprising and disappointing.

So happy we found this gem in Thun!

The studio apartment is large for a studio, with the sitting room separate from the bedroom, and a separate foyer. The bathroom is large, with a large shower stall and a good selection of toiletries. The kitchen is minimal, with a small refrigerator, a microwave, a Nespresso(!) coffee machine, a toaster, and an electric kettle, plenty of dishes and flatware, tea bags, and coffee pods. There is a folding rack for hanging laundry. There is parking available on the property. The location was ideal for us -- not in the center of Thun (which can be overrun with tourists), a few steps from a bus station, across the street from the River Aare, about a 1 km walk along the banks of the Aare and Lake Thun from a boat landing. Our hostess arranged for us the "Panorama card", the local tourist card that allows free rides on the public transport busses and reduced prices on museum visits. We enjoyed very much eating at the nearby Bistro Promenade, which specializes in soups, located less than half a kilometer from the property.

The kitchen was a bit minimal, but the other positive aspects of the apartment more than made up for that!

Very nice studio in a great location!

We loved the location as well as the overall studio. Also the welcome champagne was a very nice touch. On top we loved the flexibility with the check-out (we could leave our car parked for some more hours after checking-out).

Overall we were super happy. So there are no big things to complain about. Maybe it was a bit a cold night when we stayed, so the temperature in the bedroom was a bit on the colder side, but no issue for us.

Best Swiss cozy house experience

The room is very cozy and homey. It was a really nice experience to stay in a Swiss house. Plus, the host, Jennifer is really nice and friendly. We did not meet face to face, but communication through booking apps is very detailed. She even recommend some of the best place around the area.

Best stay in Thun

Design of the studio was lovely, it felt like a cozy home, bluetooth speaker, coffee corner, spacious bathroom and amenities, netflix, the host has thought everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also 5 star welcome with champagne and chocolates made my day! To me everything was perfect:)

Exceptional

The studio is very beautiful, modern and clean. The host, Jennifer, is super kind and will do her best to make your stay enjoyable! She brought some toys and books for our daughter and helped me out with planning our trip to the most beautiful places around Thun/Interlaken/Jungfrau… The location is very good, in front of the lake where you can swim.. there are also nice public areas for swimming nearby.. I happily recommend this place.. I wish we could stay more!

A lovely stay

Jennifer was a very attentive host and helped any way she could. The studio layout was very spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Location was good, an easy 10 minutes walk to the center of town. Bus stop was 50 meters from the place and very convenient.

Not much, I enjoyed my stay. Just the top floor neighbors were a bit noisy, I could hear heavy footsteps late in the evening and early morning, which was disturbing, but I managed to ignore it. The temperature got a bit chilly for me at night, with no individual control possible over the heating, but Jennifer provided an extra blanket which helped.

Excellent, friendly and welcoming host. Awesome location with the lake just in front of your door.

Location is awesome, just across the street - a main thoroughfare, therefore it can be quite noisy - is lake Thun, and you can literally just jump into the lake, drift along with the stream, get out further down, hop on the bus and get back to your room. Also, the beautiful city center of the lovely, little town Thun is in walking distance (< 5 min. walk). Also, just in front of the property is a bus stop which brings you either to Thun train station or all along the lakeside of Thun lake until Interlaken.

Being in a such a prime location, of course traffic is quite heavy, and the room is just right next to one of the roads connecting Thun and Interlaken along the lakeshore of lake Thun. Luckily, the owner just recently replace the windows with soundproof glazing, which reduces the noise substantially. Therefore, if you don't need to leave the window open - we stayed there early September and nightime temperatures were low enough to keep it closed - you can sleep fine until 6-6:30 am when traffic substantially increases before getting less again at around 8pm.

We stayed two beautiful nights in this beautiful apartment. I recommend it very much! We liked the coffee corner, the spacious bathroom and the cleanliness!!!! It was just perfect for us!
