A wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved everything about Torre Colombaia:-) You are first met by Louisa who is an excellent host and will genuinely make you feel at home and also ensure you’ll get the most out of your planned stay, including recommending you local restaurants (not tourist traps) and if you get a chance please do go and visit the “Caseificio” next door, so that Paolo and his team will give you an amazing introduction into the wonderful world of making Parmesan cheese, which finishes with a nice cheese tasting! Torre Colombaia is surrounded by lush fields and green hills which makes it a perfect combination for a relaxing stay. Last but not least, it’s a 10 mins drive from Vigoleno, which I think is one of the best hamlet I’ve ever seen! (A few pics included) Breakfast is amazing. If you get a

it’s a scam for tourists

the property gave false advertised address! we thought they were located in Perugia per advertisement, but they told us they were 3 hours away on the day of arrival. they wrongfully charged my credit card 4 days before arrival, and left me stranded.

Location is brilliant, right at the very heart of parmesan cheese Parmigiano Reggiano.

Too bad internet connection was like back to 1998.

Exceptional

Breakfast was not included, but the lady gave us a very nice espresso for the road. Also she told us about the castle Vigoleno in the vicinity which we visited and found very interesting.

Breve soggiorno per andare alle terme di Salsomaggiore.

Struttura medioevale curata nei minimi dettagli, davvero bella come nelle foto. Camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti. La struttura è a 10 minuti da Salsomaggiore da un lato e a 10 minuti da Vigoleno dall'altro lato. Colazione fantastica con prodotti tipici e fatti in casa, buonissima. Le terme QC si Salsomaggiore super consigliate!
